How to unlock the Nowhere to Go but Up achievement in MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD - Definitive Guide

This can be farmed, completing the same arena quest (50x) times will allow you to obtain this achievement.

You can see the amount of arenas completed by viewing your guild card!

-Load into Astera
-Invite a friend (or solo)
-Run to the lift -> Select "Gathering Hub"
-Run to the counter near the back -> Talk to the girl on the left
-Select "post a New Quest" -> "Arena"
*I recommend Arena Quest 02, myself and a friend completed this in 1 minute 30 seconds*
-Eat your favorite meal at the canteen (Doesn't appear to count in Arena)
-Start the arena
*I recommend both players use the first set of equipment "Matched Slicers III"*

Lay barrel trap, hit barrel trap, attack, shoot flash pod, attack, shoot flash pod, attack, lay shock trap, attack.

DONT FORGET TO USE "DEMON MODE"BY PRESSING RIGHT TRIGGER (RT) WHEN ATTACKING THE MONSTER WITH DUAL BLADES!

im pretty sure its just the arena quests from the gathering hub that count but not 100%

If you look on your guild card it will show how many arena quests you have completed. Optional quest arenas do not count

The skills and stats from the canteen I don't think carry over into the arena quests. I've ate at the canteen and checked my stats and skills after eating and it gets rid of the skills and there's no icon next to HP, Stamina, or any other stat to indicate that they're being boosted by a meal. Just wanted to get that out there.

If you want to do this with matchmaking, go to any board > online session > custom search. Set the type to Arena and language/skill/etc to Any. This will show you a list of lobbies with people looking to do Arena quests.

My best solo time is 2 mins 57 secs.
I grinded out 50 of these in one day while watching movies on Netflix. I am very glad this is done. It was quite a grind.

OTHER TIPS:
-No need to eat at the canteen.
-Before jumping into the arena, eat the MAX POTION, WELL-DONE STEAK and DASH JUICE and equip the FLASH POD.
-You shouldn't need to sharpen your weapons.
-Use Flash Pod and Shock Trap to make the Kulu drop its rock.
-When the Kulu-Ya-Ku is stunned/tired, pull RT to activate demon mode, stand in front at his head (its weak spot) and use the Y+B attack.
-Remember to check your Tail Raider Safari, harvest and the Argosy when prompted.

As stated in the first solution this can be done 50x on the same quest. The arena challenges count towards this achievement as well. You can see how many arena quests you’ve completed on the very first page of your Guild Card at the bottom. I did this achievement solo on the LR/HR “GajalakaOutbreak!” challenge. You have to kill 10 Gajalaka each run. Took about 2 min each time tops and can be done even faster with 2 people.

I, personally, chose the HBG and used both Normal 3 and Spread 2 ammo because it only takes 2 shots per Gajalaka with those. Use the traps given to you to trap the Barroth chasing you around and when he’s trapped all the Gajalaka will pop up and throw stuff at it. That’s your que to lay waste to the little guys.

Only downside is this is a limited time challenge so it can only be done on a week it’s up or it won’t be available. I would definitely save this achievement and try to hold out until it becomes available if it’s currently not because it really just doesn’t get any easier or faster then this (to my knowledge). Especially solo.

Arena Quests
- Not The Special Arenas You See In Optional Quests/Events
- No SOS For Arenas, So Answering SOS Calls Won't Help Find Them Either.
------------------------------------------------------------
Go To The Gathering Hub And Talk To The "Arena Lass".
- If Someone In Your Lobby Wants To Join You, They Must Sign Up Before You Start The Quest.

These Have "Weapon And Item" Sets You Have To Pick From To Do The Quest.
- You Can Not Use Your Own Equipment! This Makes Some Of Them Very Hard.
- There Are Low/High Rank And Master Rank Arena Quests.

You Must Beat 50 Total Arenas To Net This Achievement!
- You Can Do The Same Quest, Over And Over Again, If You Want To.
- The Easiest Ones Are Going To Be The First Few On Each List (High/Low/Master)
- The One Where You Just Have To Kill Ten Galajakas Is Pretty Easy Too.

These Quests Do Not Increase Your Hunter Rank Or Master Rank... So That Blows.
But, They Are Pretty Good For Trying Out New Weapons Without Having To Craft Them!

- It Will Tell You How Many You Have Completed, So You Don't Have To Guess!

No Prob Bob!
At The Bottom, On The First Page Of Your Guild Card, Located Right Under "Investigations" Total Count, To The Right Of Your "High Rank" Number.
It Is Possible It Won't Show Up Until You Complete An Arena Quest Once, But It's Been Awhile Since I Was At Zero, So I Can't Remember That XD

I have done this by selecting "Gajalaka Outbreak" in the gathering hub which counts towards this trophy.
I took the HBG (Heavy Bowgun) and when you are in the arena switch to Normal 3 ammo. It takes 2 shots to kill one gajalaka. Trap the roaming baroth with the two traps you have in your inventory so you can attack the gajalakas without that much interruption. My best time was 1min09sec. It does noch take very long to reach 50 arena quests done. It is boring yes, but you can get this trophy out of your way like this. Happy huntuing!

Once you unlock the Gathering Hub in Astera, you can begin to use the Arena. These are enclosed fights against monsters with predetermined loadouts. The award "coins" which can be used to craft some decent armor, but are otherwise not that helpful with progression (you don't earn monster materials and won't get crowns). There are not 50 unique fights, so you'll have to do some more than once, and could even do the same one 50 times to unlock the achievement.

Arena - Kulu Yaku, hit the dual with blades (~2-3.5 min.).
I advise you to grind this stuff when you get the hang of the game.

Arena quests are available from the Gathering Hall from the arena girl. New quests will appear as you progress through the game. You can complete them together with a partner online.

They are easier to pass in 2 because. Unlike the normal game mode, the number of players does not affect the HP of bosses
