Assuming you've accepted the quest to start Iceborne, and have fought and defeated the first monster on the introduction hunt, you will be back at the base in the new map. Press the 
button to open your map, and locate your room.
Once you've entered and closed all of the tutorial menus, talk to the Housekeeper and select Room Customization. Now simply change any one option, and the achievement unlocks on the loading screen.
