How to unlock the Sweet Melody achievement in MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD - Definitive Guide
This can be found in area 5 of wildspire waste, it’s generally found at the highest point. I found it to the left before climbing up to the highest point.
To go for any of the rare animals, it’s best to always leave the Palico behind, use the ghillie suit and the have the meal that gives the feline zoomaster perk.
To get the feline zoomaster perk (makes rare animals spawn more often), you need to finish all of Selianas cooks quests, plus get the rare ingredients from Hoarfrost Reach. These are the drink ingredients and how to get them:
1. GLACIAL VODKA. Master rank 2 optional quest Nighty Night Nightshade.
2. TOASTING TEQUILA. Master rank 2 optional quest Nighty Night Nightshade.
3. SNOWMELT SNIFTER. Moonlight Icebloom, it’s a rare resource found in Hoarfrost Reach when searching frozen foliage. Best to look for this when the area has the flourishing foliage locale info.
4. FROSTPEAK FIZZ. Snowpeak Icebloom, it’s a very rare resource found in Hoarfrost Reach when searching frozen foliage. Best to look for this when the area has the flourishing foliage locale info.
5. CRYSTAL QUAFF. Petalcryst, another very rare resource found in Hoarfrost Reach when searching frozen foliage. Again best to look for this when the area has the flourishing foliage locale info.
6. SEARIN SPIRIT. Master rank 3 optional quest Simmer and Slice
EDIT, INFO FROM Hexa Fox: You have to do delivery quest Lively Spirits before you’re able to do the Simmer & Slice quest
Once you have obtained these ingredients, make and save a custom meal using all 6 of the drinks from above to get the feline zoomaster perk. This does require a bit of luck for it to activate, but can be bypassed by using a meal voucher as this guarantees the perk to activate.

Before you can do the final quest "Simmer and Slice" you first have to do the delivery quest called "Lively Spirits". It is a very rare material dropped from a regular Diablos. I think you can guarantee it by breaking both horns.

This took me a couple dozen tries and ended up finding one at dusk while using the food perk. Also the "Friendly Pointer" is in the same place as well. It is a little Gecko like thing running across the ground. Great guide.
