Slightly poorly worded this one. It shouldn't say earn, since you're given 750 at the start and need to spend 750 to unlock this achievement:
The Curiosity Killed Monsters achievement in Monster Island (Windows) worth 11 pointsEarn 750 coins and spend them on a new character in the Monster Island store!
Then earn and spend another 1500 to unlock this one:
The Keep 'em coming achievement in Monster Island (Windows) worth 19 pointsEarn 1500 coins and spend them on solutions in the Monster Island store!
You'll then only need to earn another 750 and buy another monster to unlock this achievement. Thus you'll have only actually earned 2250 and spent that, not the 2500 is says you need to earn and spend.

hm...2 times 750 plus 1500 gives you 3000 not 2250.
