To get three stars you basically just have to get a certain score. This is mostly by completing the level using the minimum number of objects (stones/bombs). However, because some of the objects have different points awarded for not using them, it is sometimes required that you use specific types of objects.

Here an easy way of getting your first three stars. Its the first level you play when you start the game. Its super easy to get it.

Each level is scored based upon how well you did and how many minis you used. The more minis you have left at the end earn you more points.

Your goal with each level is to kill all the monsters with as few minis as possible. 3 stars can be tricky on some levels, but with 63 levels on each section you're bound to get 3 stars on one of them.

If you can't get 3 stars just replay and try to get more points by using less minis. If you're still stuck try looking at the solution. You'll ultimately need to earn 3 stars on every level to earn other achievements.
