This is for obtaining a shifted monster and you can get this achievement after the bossfight at the top of the Sun Palace, where you have to raise the tower a few times.
After that fight you`ll learn that monsters can be shifted to light or dark (or back to neutral) with shiftstones. So to get one of these you can either use one shiftstone (from chests etc.) on a neutral monster or just wait until one drops after a fight and hatch that. The color of the eggs is different from the neutral ones, they are easily spotted in your inventory.

After the events at the Sun Palace all monsters in the game will have the ability to shift into their Light or Dark forms with a 25% chance to spawn shifted at every encounter.
To manually shift a normal monster it will require a Shift Stone which are rare items found in treasure chests and level 4 & 5 reward boxes. You can also use Switch stones to switch from one shift to another for an already shifted monster.
When you shift a monster their stats and passive buffs will change so pay close attention to what will work best with your party of monsters due the the somewhat limited number of Shift Stones that you can get without grinding. When you have picked what monster you want shifted open your inventory and items with
and select the Shift Stone, monster and light or dark and the trophy will pop.
