How to unlock the Incoming! achievement in Monster Sanctuary - Definitive Guide
Edit (02/17/22): This strategy may or may not work exactly as it did in the past on newer versions of the game. I'll share a video link, provided by Ehh Maple in the comments, which is also similar to Dualmilion's guide on the achievement.
10,000 is a lot! so probably best to try for this late game when you're at the level cap. I used a Dark shifted Specter to deal the 10k hit with a Dark Yowie and Light Beetloid for support. Our target is none other than the Specter itself, which you can choose to fight from the Champion Challenge npc in Keeper's Tower.

This was my Specter's skill tree, We're going to use the ability Spectral Cannon lvl2 in conjunction with all the crit dmg+ passives. My Gear was Scythe+5, Cape+5, Impact Ring+5 and Medallion +5. You may be fine swapping some crit dmg for more magic like Moon Sword or Wizard Hat, but I haven't tested that myself.
Edit: Charge stacks are important for boosting your damage enough to breach 10k, try spending a couple turns to build them up on specter before you attack. Yowie is the weakest member here and can be replaced by dark draconov, which has an aura to increase party equipment stats by 15%. This should help make the 10k limit more easily achievable.
For the fight, simply have Yowie use Glorycast lvl3, Beetloid use Enchantment lvl3, and cross your fingers for Spectral Cannon to crit. My final crit was for 10,1xx which is cutting it a bit close, but the setup was sufficient for the achievement.
Troll/Draconoir are other possible candidates as they have high physical and access to the Boulder Toss ultimate. I was able to hit 8,600 using Troll vs Gryphonix without a physical setup so it may be viable.

I tried this method a few times now and the highest crit I've ever got was about 8k. Dunno how you managed to get 10k..

Are you ensuring to have yowie and beetloid buff first each round so your combo # is as high as it can be before specter attacks? I did not intentionally debuff the target, since I saw the attack ignores some defense, but armor break might help if you have a hexing staff.
I did manage a 15k hit using dark draconov, aazerach and dark specter while trying to 5star the vertraag fight, but that champion is an rng nightmare. I could suggest targeting Elderjel as it has the same neutral weakness as well as slightly less defense, but it should be doable with the team/equipment I listed in the guide vs Specter.

Very easy way to do this is take 3 Monster that dont apply Bleed, Poison, Burn or Congeal. Then take a stacking monster. I used lvl40 Brutus and Promethean. Go to the starting area in Mountain Path and fight low level monsters.
I got the 10k with Brutus using lvl5 Heavy Punch with 100 stacks with no equipment or weapon equiped. Took 12 turns. If you equip him with Charging sphere, and high attack equipment itll be even easier
If you havent got Brutus, Promethean can do it as well with lvl5 Heavy Punch

This trophy is best performed later in the game when you have a good understanding of the game mechanics. To get over 10,000 damage in a single hit will require good synergy between all 3 of the monsters in the party. You can use any combination of monsters that you wish. It is recommended that you have a high damage monster, and 1 or 2 monsters that apply buffs to the whole party or to the main attacking monster.
You will want to use the first monsters buffing the party preferably with damage buffs such as;
You will want to use the first monsters buffing the party preferably with damage buffs such as;
- Might - Physical skills deal 20% more damage.
- Glory - Increases critical chance by 10% and critical damage by 20%.
- Sidekick - Each attack triggers an additional 40% damage hit.
Once the party or individual monster has been buffed to the maximum that you can, use the strongest attack on a high health monster such as a Champion Monster, even better if you hit it with its weakness type for even more damage.
If you do not wish to attempt this with your own team set up, the below images will show the exact monsters, equipment, food and skills I personally used to achieve this with 11.5k damage on a Champion Monster.

- Light Megataur to provide buffs.

- Light Brutus as DPS for his strongest attack.
