I unlocked this by doing less than nothing. I never summoned a unit, I only used spells. I used torches to kill the weak enemies and cast regen on the strong ones. I somehow still won!

I would suggest Awoken as your primary clan and Hellhorned as your second. The Sentient Awoken Champion with Bristling (spikes) is a really easy way to beat the first few bosses while you don’t have a lot of cards.

This should be your first achievement of the game. With the Hellhorned champion, you generally want to play him on the first floor with Train Stewards taking hits for him. When the boss shows up, combat continues until someone dies.
If this fails, Train Stewards on the second and third floor can finish him off. Failing that, the Pyre will make short work of him as well.
