How to unlock the Monsters Love Your Candy achievement in Monsters Love Candy - Definitive Guide

I am using a monster named Meemo, who has all 3 Stray Angels as boosts. Most people think its about forming larger chains but the real score comes from "clearing" the board. The Stray Angel boost makes this easier.

Another tip. If you can't find chains anymore, double click on the board so the chains you formed will be removed and the next gems will drop. This will save you more time.

Trust me, I made it through the Coast without the need to repeat a stage as I all got three stars. Then I went back to Cave and Tundra to finish the rest. Top score is 3M, and I am only using a mouse.

I have a few levels that I cannot 3-star with Meemo for some reason. I blame it on my slow reflexes. I am assuming a mythical or legendary monster would be better suited for these. Any suggestions?

In case of Jumper, it has 2 Stray Angels and costs 1500 coins per round. If you are using Jumper wisely, you get out of the round with around 2 million points, which result in 2000 coins, so you even get a net win with him.

With Meemo which costs 4200 coints, I can get up to 3 million points. I got through all levels, but lost coins which I had to gather with Jumper.

You can do it with Meemo. Practice makes perfect. Take note that most of your score comes from the clearing bonus. You could try upgrading the Stray Angel bonus to level 2.

You can also double click/tap if you can't find matches anymore, so the next batch of candies will drop. Good luck!

Thanks. Does "clearing bonus" mean clearing the whole board, or just complete chains? I rarely clear the whole board, yet I have a clearing score.

The double click thing is essential to getting high scores. I am almost done with this, and was able to 3 star almost ever level using a monster that costs 1500 and has two stray angels. I would recommend upgrading the stray angle boost first when you are going for sweet tooth.

I also have the monster that cost 1500 coins and has two stray angels. It is called "Jumper" and is a regular monster in the cave levels.
Where can I find "Meemo"? Would love to upgrade to a stronger stray angels monster.

Both Jumper and Meemo are in the Cave. :) Now I am down to catching Mythical monsters thanks to these two.

Meemo and Jumper are the keys for mine. What I have also done is kept a Mythical monster as well who has Stray Angel boosts just in case I need one, and have actually upgraded the Stray Angel boost to Level 2 (cost of 50 purple jewels, which I have saved as I have gone up through the levels).

This has allowed me to get through all but about 5-6 levels with all 3 stars so far - I'll be doing the rest of them over coming days - without running out of money.

What are exploration stars? I see that I have 30 of them in my stats, but no clue what they are or how I got them.

Got coins by either grinding in previous stages (to catch missing monsters), leveling up, or multiplayer challenges without using monster. I actually find it funny that people use monsters for multiplayer. It's ok if I lose, I still get coins and XP. The random opponent meanwhile loses money for using a monster. :))

And where do you get the coins for using monster guys? I'm using one that has one stray angel and one bubble whatever but can't use it more than two games in a row because of the coins

Yeah, Jumper is usually a net gain. I'm not that great at it so I usually only make a few hundred coins. I sometimes found it easier to run through the first couple levels without boost, which would usually net me 1600 coins. This would usually give me the remaining amount that I needed to use Meemo.

Did not know about that double click tip. Very nice and it's improved my scores quite a bit. I can't believe I've gotten as far as I have by waiting 2-3 seconds with no matches...

In each level, you get up to 3 stars. Each world has 15 levels, so that makes 45 stars. Multiply that number by 5 (number of worlds) and you get 225. In short, you have to get 3 stars in each level. The scores required are shown before you play each stage.

a little tip if you cant 3-star the last few levels with meemo:
when the timer is up and you havent evolved the monster yet, you are given the option to "buy" additional 20 seconds for 5 jewels. these 20 seconds should give you the chance to get the 3-stars. invest it, if you are within a few 100k points from the third star. i think its cheaper than a good mythical monster.

Stray Angel and Magnet Magic abilities are going to help a lot.

I am using a monster called Shadow, found in the caves, he has 2 stray angles and a bomb.

If you don't mind spending cash on the game or if you want to wait and save up your "paid currency" i highly recommend buying the Double Coins perk in the shop. With this you can play all day and not lose coins.

Shadow cost 4200 to play with and i get 5000+ per level.
The basic strategy with stray angle is to clear big groups of the colors that fill your perk to get one to drop onto the field. Once you have one, match 4-5 groups of candies then match the stray angle tile. This should clear most of the tiles. Then just clean up the board really quick and double click to make them all disappear.

Using Shadow I consistently get 2-3 million points per level. and it does not really cost me any coins to play.

Edit: I Just found one in the caves called Meemo who has 3 Stray Angels

You need to earn all 225 stars across the 75 levels in the game. Stars are entirely related to score, with higher scores earning you more stars, up to three per level. The score requirements for the stars are visible when you first click on the level to play. The requirements are lower for the earlier worlds, and get harder as you progress to the later worlds, and through each individual world. You will certainly have to use monsters with good boosts to be able to three-star some of the tougher levels of the game where you are required to get more than 2 million score. Being able to afford using these monsters so frequently may require some boosting of coins.

Earning all 45 stars in a single world will earn you the "Shooting Sugar Stars" achievement along the process.
