You'll get this as you progess through the story, in part 5 of Chapter 1 (Taking The Elevator), with The Missing Link.
After exiting at the top of the elevator, and turning a corner, you'll have to kill some spherical enemies, and use one to toss at a button above a gap. Once the enemies are dead, and the button's pressed by you throwing an enemy, you'll have to stand on another button/platform on the ground. It'll then give you the opportunity to press B to use grab the pole. This will pop the achievement once you have done it.
