First of all, you'll have to open the final gate and go to the final dungeon. It's very simple to walk to the boss. Ok, now we have five steps to win the battle:
1st step: Fully upgrade a weapon (Shield and sworld was my choice here) and an armor including all the enchantments.
2nd step: Upgrade the Moonlighter to the maximum level (including the bed): it will bring you an extra lifebar and three "free hits".
3rd step: Buy 5 life potions (the biggest one) and equip it.

I did want to post a warning that this achievement is glitched for me after two different play throughs (the second being a NG+). I earned the related “Careful Merchant” and “Gotta Go Fast!” tonight, which shouldn’t be possible without this achievement. Just wanted mention it for others to help save time and frustration.
Update: If you run into the issue I mentioned above, doing a complete reset by deleting both your local saves and cloud saves corrects the issue (I assume that I had a bugged save file) Though this means you’ll have to play the entire game again from the start.
