How to unlock the Slime Protection Service achievement in Moonlighter - Definitive Guide

For this achievement you must -

- 1st buy 'The wooden Hat' town upgrade from the town bulletin board (500g)
- There will be a big slime in the pen next to the shop.
- Slap it about 42 times
- Done

Note - I did get stuck inside the pen and had to load a save so do this at the beginning of the Day or Night cycle.

This was one of the achievements that glitched on me. I'm guessing the game recorded me meeting the requirements but didn't actually pop the achievement which meant I could no longer get the achievement. To unlock it I had to delete my save files (I did it both in game and through the "Manage game & add-ons" screen) and reinstall the game. Worked first try on my new game.

I thought it glitched on me too, as I hit it 50 times. Stepped away from the fence, went back and hit it one more time and it popped.

Smack the pet slime behind the alchemist potion shop 42 times and it should pop

In town, there are several orange trees (and a couple large green ones). Attacking these trees will cause them to drop coins, which you can collect. Upon collecting the first coin you cause to drop from a tree, this trophy will unlock.

Note that you must collect coins from the very first tree that drops them for this to unlock. If you drop coins from two trees and collect the coins from the second tree you hit before collecting coins from the first, this will not unlock and you'll need to reload your save (if possible) or start a new game in order to unlock this. This is likely a bug and may be patched later.

After purchasing The Wooden Hat from the town board for 500 gold, head to the west side of town to see the potion stand. You will see a slime in a pen next to it, and using any weapon, you need to whack it 42 times to unlock the achievement.

You will need to purchase The Wooden Hat town upgrade from the town board for 500 gold. When it is built, there will be a pen with a slime in it next to the shop. Walk up to the slime and hit it 42 times.

You need to hit a tree in the village. With a certain probability, one or more coins may fall from it.

Glitched Trophy . They say that it does not fall out if you hit the second tree before you have collected all the coins from the first.
