Moonscars

This achievement follows alongside the main story and subsequently there's a lot of assumed progress and item collection through the various locations that I will skip.

If you don’t complete all the necessary steps listed here then you won’t be able to get Yarema to join his sister atop The Apex to protect her whilst you’re taking on Red Irma. This is the entire point of the questline.

Halfway through this quest you will have the choice to diverge and go for the Joys of Motherhood instead. You should be able to get both achievements in one run, through a process of cloud saving shenanigans - some details can be found in the comments section for the opposing questline achievement guide by local bellboy linked further below.

*Exhausting dialogue means talk to the NPC until their dialogue is finished, then talk to them again and again until they repeat the same lines over and over. This is probably unnecessary, but I suggest it anyway just to be safe.

The Cruel Queen quest
You first meet Yarema locked in a jail cell Southwest of the Mirror at Outskirts > The Fortress (see Map)
- Kill everything to free him and then exhaust his dialogue.

Speak with Yadwiga in High Castle > The Gynaceum
- Exhaust her dialogue, she will give you a key to the previously locked area to her left.

Head all the way left and Kill Gniewko, the Royal Infant


Head back to the Mould Workshop, find and speak with Yarema
- He’s on the upper left level, exhaust his dialogue.

Return to Yadwiga in High Castle > The Gynaceum
- Exhaust her dialogue.
- Speak with Yarema who should be standing right beside her, exhaust his dialogue.
- Speak with Adelinka who should be standing there too, exhaust her dialogue.

Head back to the Mould Workshop, find and speak with Yarema again
- He’s in the same spot as before, exhaust his dialogue.

Head to the Depths > Corpse Pits and find Yarema (see Map)
- Exhaust his dialogue.

Stay in the Depths and kill Wanda


Go to Earth Bowels > Holy Silence and find Yarema (see Map)
- Exhaust his dialogue, he will die.

Defeat Cruel Lajos in Earth Bowels

- after killing Cruel Lajos, head left to find the Kiln.

Speak with the Gargoyles in the Kiln
- You will be prompted to hand over Yarema’s Gland and then pay them 10,000 bone powder to revive him.

Head back to the Mould Workshop, find and speak with Yarema again
- He’s in the same spot as before, exhaust his dialogue.
- you will unlock

Return to Yadwiga in High Castle > The Gynaceum
- Exhaust her dialogue.

Find the Left Eye of the Old Hag at High Castle > The Nursery (see Map)
Find the Right Eye of the Old Hag at the Depths > Forsaken Valley (see Map)

NOTE - If you give the eyes to the Old Hag you will void this achievement and will instead open up the Joys of Motherhood quest.


Return to Yadwiga in High Castle > The Gynaceum
- Exhaust her dialogue, you will give her the eyes.

Head to the High Castle > The Throne Hall and speak with the King, rebuild him using his 4 missing limbs:
- Left Leg is in the Mould Workshop, through the flesh wall on the upper left platform.
- Right Leg is near Yarema where you found him in the Depths, just above and to the right (see Map).
- Right Arm is near the Depths > Lesser Mills (see Map).
- Left Arm is near the High Castle > The Memorial (see Map).

Speak with the King 3 times and pay him a total of 30,000 bone powder to hear all his stories and unlock:

Return to Yadwiga in High Castle > The Gynaceum
- Exhaust her dialogue.

Return to the King at High Castle > The Throne Hall
- Kill the slasher enemy that has taken the King’s place.

Return to Yadwiga in High Castle > The Gynaceum
- Exhaust her dialogue.

Find Yarema all the way over to the bottom right in The Apex > Presence (see Map)
- Exhaust his dialogue.
- Feed him 10,000 bone powder.

Climb the tower directly above Yarema, to the right of The Apex > Presence to get to the Moon Chapel (see Map)
- Speak with Yarema & Yadwiga.
- Exhaust both their dialogue.

Kill Red Irma in The Apex (see Map) to unlock:


Go back to the Moon Chapel in The Apex > Presence
- Speak with Yarema & Yadwiga.
- Exhaust both their dialogue unlocking:
