How to unlock the Traitor's Lot achievement in Moonscars - Definitive Guide
This achievement is unlocked by killing the first of the named bosses. It is also (as is tradition in these sorts of games) the first major skill wall that will be put in your way to really test your reflexes.
You will want to have explored as much of the map as possible to unlock permanent Ichor, Health and Damage upgrades - look for the ? symbols on the map. When I beat this boss I had unlocked 1 of each.
This whole encounter is really just a test of dodge and attack timing. Come in to this fight swinging and you will perish - fast.
You can Light Attack with but you won’t do much damage and the fight will last way too long. Instead you want to use your Special Attack exclusively. I recommend Whirlwind personally (for that sweet Hex damage over time), but you may also have success with the others. You could try using the Corrosive Touch witchery too before you enter the arena for some extra poison damage but I kept forgetting to use it.
Generating Ichor in this fight is a struggle - so healing will be at a premium. Chokran will occasionally spawn a couple of adds either side of the room, and you’re going to want to kill one of them if possible to give you the tiniest of Ichor boosts. He will undoubtedly kill the other one so don’t bother trying to get both. If you’re in this fight long enough to kill enough of these adds you might get a Spite level - a Healing Power boost would be very welcome though this never happened for me. If you’ve got the dodge timing down to survive long enough for these adds to spawn enough times, you probably won’t need the Spite level!
His attacks range from 3 swipe combo’s (he can turn around on the final swipe, so watch out!), single swipes, short dash swipes, cross room lunges. Each of these should be treated the same - Dash forwards through the attack with and immediately go for your Special Attack assuming you are still close by. The perfect timing for the dodge will take some practice.
After he’s thrown a few of his melee attacks he will spawn a copy of himself to throw down spears indicated by red lines. Quickly position yourself in any of the gaps and be ready to dash through any incoming attacks. The copy will only throw down once before disappearing. If you see an opportunity to get in a Special Attack then do so but you may be better off waiting until the spear throwing has stopped.
Chokran will launch up in to the ceiling sooner or later, ready to dive bomb you. Keep moving and dodging. He doesn’t stay up there very long - only a few seconds. Unless you’ve got cat-like reflexes and can dash the moment he appears out of the ceiling, I recommend just staying on the move, dashing every other second - there is a bit of luck involved in avoiding him this way and he has a nasty habit of catching you even when you thought you’d avoided the attack. You definitely want to get in another Special Attack as he lands though. Be prepared to dash away immediately afterwards.
Many of the attacks will just repeat here. Eventually Chokran will start throwing his own spears too, you will treat it the same as before, except he will do several spear throws in a row with varying spacing between the spears, as always be ready to dash through incoming attacks and immediately reposition yourself between the next set of red lines, and so on. You can get in a Special Attack as this cycle ends if you're close by.
Be patient, this will definitely take some practice for most. You could try parrying - I didn’t even attempt it, please comment below if the is worked for you. Use your best judgement for when to heal, look for windows of opportunity after Chokran dashes to the opposite side of the room.
If this fight goes well, it can be over very quickly. Good luck!

In addition to what user above said
Parry… especially early on when he does that one swipe attack. Each parry nets about 30 hp, also try and save your glands early on and get the damaging dash charm. Attack-dash through and pary him is what got me through this guy.
Also for the dive bomb attack, you will hear Chokran laugh, that will be your queue to dodge. Hope this helps.
