How to unlock the Strive for perfection achievement in Morbid: The Seven Acolytes - Definitive Guide
If you really suck at melee combat in this game like I do (and I wouldn't blame you), your best bet is to attempt this on Vulgus Calia, the Mass of Terror. He's the first Acolyte you fight in the City of Yortael, somewhat late in the game.
We're gonna be fighting exclusively from long range, so make sure you have your strongest firearm equipped, I used The Long Ranger you get as a reward from the guy in the Village area who wants you to bring him the head of Fat Conrad (whom you'll fight a little to the left of the Toad boss in Felfields area). I slotted it with +20 Bleeding and +20 Electricity runes, enemy weaknesses are poorly communicated here though so other status effects might work better.
Next up, make sure you have equipped as many offensive blessings as you can. Forget every blessing tied to health and healing, we're not supposed to get hit anyway. By now you should have the Blessing of the Giant Slayer (found in Grimwald's Grove) upgraded quite a bit, if not all the way, and before you reach the boss you'll also find the Blessing of the Gunslinger, these two blessings are a must. Blessing of Krombi (found in the Garden) will allow you to have a few extra bullets in the magazine, use that as well because every shot will count. Have the maximum amount of Krombi's Canisters ready in your quickslot too.
You enter the boss arena from the upper right, and I suggest you hang back to the right with your back to the wall, because the boss loves to spawn minions and this way you don't have to worry about a flying skull biting you in the ass. Start sniping the boss in the middle of the arena immediately, you need to hit the red mass in the center which is kinda obvious, but stay with me. As I said, the boss constantly spawns minions and you need to diversify your shots so you take them out too, try to line it up so your shots penetrate more than one target, and keep them off of you.
Now comes the tricky part - occasionally the boss will disappear from the center and spawn a bunch of purple ghosts on the ground, you need to blast these guys to make the boss reappear, but they have these nasty ranged attacks that are possibly the biggest threat for this achievement. They only take one shot to kill, and I'm fairly sure if you hit their projectile you should destroy it mid-air, so this is where you have to be extra precise. As the fight goes on, this will happen more often and there will also be more skulls, so do your best not to get overwhelmed.
Time your reloads! If there's a huge swarm of enemies coming and you only have three bullets in your magazine, sacrifice a Krombi Canister so you don't get overwhelmed while realoading, if you lose control during the fight, you most likely won't recover.
Keep your cool and follow the patterns and you'll make it.
IMPORTANT! - if you do get hit during the fight, immediately quit out and reload the game, it will NOT void the achievement. There's a shrine very close to the boss, so you won't have to run very far either. You won't even lose any ammo spent, so you have as many tries as you want.

Good call on this boss, this was pretty easy using your guide! The eels are definitely the most dangerous part, they got me a couple times, but third try was the charm! Thanks!

Note that getting hit by the red mist in this battle (and having your vision clouded) does NOT count as taking damage and will still unlock the achievement.

If you don't fancy the cheese method in the other solution or missed doing it etc it's also pretty easy to get this against the first proper boss of the game, Lorn The Blind.
You can start a new game and get to this point in probably as little as about 15 minutes if you book it through the opening couple of areas. He only has a few very well telegraphed attacks and you can use the dashboard, hard quit and reload method if you do take damage so can have as many attempts as you may need.

just got this achievement and the easiest way i did it was on new game plus. i was level 43 and had the grim reaver with 2 10% speed runes and fire and poison rune. i also added poison to my sword just for a boost in damage not sure if hes weak against it or not. you can run to him in about 10 mins.
you still have to becareful and leave enough space but the range on the weapon is great. heres a video of me doing it in less than a minute.

*MISSABLE*
You will have to defeat one of the seven main story bosses without taking any damage for this achievement. Most of the bosses have fairly standard attack patterns that you can exploit, getting in one or two hits before rolling away, and repeating that over and over. You'll want to kite them in circles or back and forth to accomplish this. One boss sits still in the middle of the room while other minor enemies are the ones you need to watch out for, but sitting directly next to the boss protects you from their range. In the video below, you can see flawless runs of all the bosses. If you have enough ammo recharges, most of them can be killed with ranged attacks without issue.

It's very easy to do on the first novice, Lorna the Blind. The fight takes place on the stairs. If you go around the corner, one flight higher, the boss will get stuck and you can beat him with impunity. It's best to use a large sword, it has a longer attack range.

The method described above no longer works, the boss is quite easy, tactics, deal 2 blows with a trident and run away, or go to the fields to the left of the city there is a mini boss, a revived mammoth creature, in the lower right corner of the arena, dive into the cave and from there pick the boss with something long, he won’t get you, the main thing is don’t run out
