Quick work around the "dying" part of this cheevo. Short piece of the guide from the great walkthrough of this game here on TA. Credit goes entirely to PICKLE RIIIICK:
"As of writing this review, if at any point you die, simply quit out to the main menu and reload your save and the game does not count this as a death. Thankfully the game is pretty lightweight and loading isn’t much of a drag. Checkpoints are also numerous, so you’ll likely never spawn back much more than a couple of minutes at the most."
