How to unlock the King Slayer achievement in Mortal Kombat 1 - Definitive Guide

King of the Hill matches can be found online under Kasual, and you can either boost this with another player or try against randoms online.

When you join a lobby there will be one or more other players. One player will be the King and other players will take turns fighting them. If a player defeats the king, they become the king and the achievement unlocks.

To boost it, start a private King of the Hill match with another player. One of you will start as the king. If you are the king, lose to the other player and then beat them to unlock.

Note: When I did this it took a minute or so to unlock so maybe hang around in the lobby until it does before quitting.

Easy achievement if you have a friend or someone that’s looking for this achievement you can do a king of the hill in private you can get to two achievement- total disrespect and King slayer for me there’s a delay for these two achievement

To unlock this achievement, you have to beat the King in a King of the Hill online match. On the main menu, head into versus, then online, then Kasual, and then select King of the Hill. The easiest way to unlock this achievement is to set up a private King of the Hill match with a friend – or, sneakier still, with a second console.

Whoever hosts the match will be the King, and the player joining will have to defeat them. It only takes a single match, so this one shouldn't take long. Barring any sneaky tactics, you can simply try your luck, and your skills, online and try and unlock this the old-fashioned way.

You need to defeat another player in the "King of the Hill" mode. Can be done with a friend in a private lobby

If you play with a friend, have one of you win the first game first. the second battle is won by the second player. the third battle is won again by 1 player. in this way you will both receive a trophy (the second player in the second battle, the first player in the third battle)
