Unmissable. Most Invasion boards have a boss and at least one mini-boss. While these aren't clearly marked, you'll know you're facing one if they go into a second "powered up" phase when you defeat them.

Mini-bosses have one extra phase, bosses can have two or more.

You can't miss this achievement if you're playing the Invasions mode. Some of the Encounters that you will trigger in Invasions will be Mini Bosses. They don't look much different to regular enemies, but they have a few irritating boosts that make them much tougher opponents. You will meet many of these on your way to unlocking Juggernaut (30G).
