This will only be unlocked whilst playing any game mode except story mode. I think I unlocked this around my 5th or 6th fight.

Not sure if intended, but this didn't count in Story for me; only Invasions.

Thanks Maka, I’ve updated this solution, I hadn’t played story at the time of this guide so I didn’t know that it didn’t count in story.

You can’t unlock this achievement by playing through the story mode, unfortunately. So get yourself into the Invasions mode or simply play a good string of classic fights. You should unlock this one in around five to ten matches.
