How to unlock the Kompetitor achievement in Mortal Kombat 11 - Definitive Guide
They made this super easy to boost. You still have to search for random Kasual matches, you can not create a lobby or do private matches for this. That being said once you match up with your boosting partner you can rematch an infinite amount of times so you do not have to keep searching.
The best way to find each other is to search at the same time. Doing this late at night is better because less people are playing. Me and my friend attempted this around 1am. we searched at the same time and found each other on the first try.
Your mileage may very, but once you get matched up together it's smooth sailing from there.

It seems glitchy, as i have more than 50 kasual matches, and none of them are in the lobby or private matches, all i've done is kasual versus, but i googled it, and it seems there's plenty of people who has the same problem, so i reckon all we have to do is keep playing kasual versus until it pops up...

This can be found by going to Fight/Online/Kasual/Versus and searching for an opponent. You can accept or deny opponents, so you can boost this with a friend if you choose to. Simply accept when you see your friend/boosting partner's gamertag. You do not have to win, only participate.
(Online Multiplayer)
In order to unlock this trophy, you will need to complete 50 Kasual versus matches from start to finish. Whether you win or lose each match or if you have krossplay (which will let you play against Xbox One and PS4 players) enabled does not matter. You can also head on to the Trophy Boosting Thread if you need to find a partner.
You can also keep track of your progress towards this trophy by pressing to open up your Kombat Kard in the main menu, then go to Kareer Stats and then Online History.

Patch 1.04, the trophy drops exactly at the 50th match.

I can add that games in Ranked Matches do not count towards a trophy. I played 50 matches and it didn’t count. You just have to play the online game.

01/26/2020 There is a glitch with this trophy. I played exactly 50 matches - they didn’t give me a chance. Then I left the game, closed it completely, logged in again and as soon as I started a new match the trophy dropped out. So to avoid playing unnecessary matches, restart the game immediately after the 50th match.

For those who wondered where it is exactly: online battle/random/duel (not AI battle). You just have to take part and it doesn't matter who wins.
I personally got 49 in a random battle in the very first round. For some reason, they counted one victory in the king of the hill.
Battles are considered if you complete these battles with the same random player. Quitality also counts.

If you exit when choosing a character, then the match goes everywhere in the battle statistics as a defeat, but is not counted for the trophy
