How to unlock the Not Dead Yet achievement in Mortal Kombat 11 - Definitive Guide

Mortal Kombat 11 - Not Dead Yet- Show MERCY 10 times

Time: 10 - 15 min.
To unlock the achievement:
1. Set up rounds to 1- Play local Versus-Very Easy in the main roster.
2. To perform a Mercy first defeat your opponent, and a mid-distance spam LT and down (around 4 times)
3. Repeat this process 10 times.

I made a video just in case:

Showing merci and then smacking his head off... What a friendly person you must be...

Anyway great idea to get some brutalities in there.

To perform a Mercy you must defeat your opponent, then when finish him is on screen move four steps away from your opponent (mid-distance) and then spam cn_LT and cn_LSd to perform a Mercy. This will revive your opponent with minimal health.

Easiest way to grind ten is to set rounds to 1 and play local versus on Very Easy. Get a Mercy, then just hit Retry and go again.

Maybe it’s just me, but the progress bar wasn’t going up on 1 round matches. Switched back to 2 and it started tracking again.

In this video guide I will show you how to show mercy 10 times. First you will need to change the rounds in the main menu by pressing the start button. Change them to one round. Then you will need to fight locally with the AI. Make sure you put the difficulty on very easy. Then get them to the finish them stage and back up. Press Down on the D-pad and LT a couple times each at the same time. It will say mercy and the enemy will get some health back again. Just finish them off with a brutality to get progress on that as well. Then just restart the match nine more times to get the achievement.

In the options (press Select) set number of rounds to 1 and when selecting opponent set AI difficulty to 'Very Easy' (can also use a second controller if available).

Hit the enemy until their health bar is drained at which point 'FINISH HIM' will appear on screen. Position your character midway from the opponent and input 'Down + LT' four times to perform a Mercy. At this point you can finish off your opponent.

Then when the points are tallied hit 'Retry' to restart and perform 9 more Mercies.

In Mortal Kombat, the Mercy mechanic allows players to spare their opponents during the "FINISH HIM!/HER!" sequence at the end of the player's match point and give them another chance to fight instead of killing them with a normal attack or with a fatality.

To execute a mercy, you will need to stand from a distance (namely those of Mid fatalities), hold and tap three times before letting go of . If done successfully, the words MERCY will appear and a portion of your opponent's health will be recovered, as seen in the screenshot below:

As the trophy description says, you will need to show mercy to your opponents at least ten times in order to unlock it. This can easily be done in a local versus match against a CPU or with a second controller but keep in mind that this can only be done once per match. You can also keep track of your progress towards this trophy by pressing to open up your Kombat Kard in the main menu, then go to Kareer Stats.

After defeating an opponent and receiving the "Finish Him" prompt, you will need to perform a Mercy, which is done at Medium Range via pressing L2 and DOWN at the same time a few times quickly

Showing mercy to an opponent is a way of giving them an extra chance to beat you (or troll them further). To show mercy, when the announcer shouts "Finish Him/Her!!" quickly press +, +, +, + at mid to far range.

can be combined with any Brutality/Fatality trophy
when the finish appears, we move away to a medium distance and press down + L2, down + L2, down + L2 several times, to boost it we set 1 round, you can combine it with brutality before the second finish him.
As a result, we get finish him 2 times
on the first - mercy, on the second - brutality (then we play without a block), or fatality, depending on which trophy you want to combine with.

Let me add that the main condition for fulfillment is not to block in the final round, and after you see the inscription Finish him! Need to clamp , down three times and let go .
