This is easily the hardest of the "alities" to perform. First of all it can only be performed in UMK3, secondly you have to fight to a third round i.e. you win one then lose one and thirdly you have to perform a "Mercy" on your opponent. A mercy is performed at the "finish him" screen you stand on the opposite side of the screen from your opponent, hold the run button (LB) press down 3 times then release the run button. At this point the screen will go dark and you'll hear Shao Kahn say "(character) shows mercy", and your opponent will gain a small sliver of health back. Once you beat your opponent into the "finish him" screen a second time then you can then perform the Animality. I used Sektor very simple: stand next to your opponent and push Towards, Towards, Down, Up once you've completed this extensive list of criteria "DING" the achievement will be yours

found stryker to be easiest as he can stand at the edge of the screen and throw a bomb to get mercy easy. plus his animality is LB,LB,LB,RT at sweep distance. easy as pie.

I can't perform the mercy, any help? I'm holding run down which is LB not RB for me, I'm at the other side of the screen and I press down 3 times and release, but nothing happens.

I found that Nightwolf was a good choice for this achievement. Just do the Mercy and then simply go up to your opponent and press Forward, Forward, Down, Down to get your achievement.

I've tried holding run and pressing down 3 times and also 4 times before releasing run. Neither worked. I found that pressing down 2 times instead of 3 or 4 worked the first time for me.

I went w/ what Deep Cloak suggested. Nightwolf is by far the easiest. Also I think it is vastly worth noting this cannot be done unless it goes to 3 rounds. I did it with a 2nd controller.

Make sure you are in the 3rd round. Mercy can actually be performed anywhere on the screen. When u do it just keep tapping down as fast as u can and then release the run button

Ok
-Win in 3rd Round
-Perform Mercy
-Beat them Again
-Perform Animality

Only problem is I can't pull off the Mercy. So you have to back away to the other side of the screen hit LB and then Down 2-4 times, depending on who you ask apparently, and that's it?

Someone please help! I have no problem doing mercy but animality isn't happening. I bet I've tried to do it 100 times. At this rate I'm going to get 200 wins before I can perfrom this fatality. What the hell am I not doing correctly? Using Nightwolf (F,F,D,D,) close. He just stands there and ducks twice.

@widowedspider Don't use Nightwolf if u can't get it. Try Sub-Zero. I think it is much easier. Just HOLD BLOCK...Then tap Forward, Up, Up while holding BLOCK. Very simple. If u can't get it send me a friend request and i'll help you

Animality,
To make this achievement not sound as tough I found a path to the 3 round just by playing 1 round. This will require 2 controllers as you need to enter in a code. Also load up UMK3
Now pick Nightwolf with the account that needs the achievement. Against whoever it doesn't matter.
Now at the VS screen is where you enter in the code. The code is 044440 which means Controller 1 presses cn_RT and cn_B 4 times and Controller 2 presses cn_RT and cn_A four times.
This code make it 1 hit to finish the round but it also gives you two round wins and the other controller 1 round win

Now make sure you are a full screen apart, cn_down cn_left cn_A for the arrow, it should say finish him now hold cn_LB and press cn_down 4 times release cn_LB. When you get the mercy walk up to the opponent and hit them low impact you don't want them flying backwards. Now for Nightwolf's Animality you need to be close press cn_right cn_right cn_down cn_down. He turns into a wolf and promptly mauls the bad guy.

I had to press down 6-8 times for the mercy to work. Took almost an hour to figure that out.

This can ONLY be done in UMK3. You must win the round by beating your opponent in the 3rd round and giving him mercy. They will come back to life with a tiny bit of health left. Defeat them again and press a series of specific buttons to turn into an animal and kill your opponent.

Example:
Pick Sub-Zero and beat your opponent in the first round, lose in the second, then win in the third. When 'Finish Him!" appears, quickly jump back and hold the RUN button and then press four times for a Mercy. Defeat your opponent again then, on 'Finish Him', touch your opponent and while holding block, press quickly.

Animalities can only be preformed in UMK3

To preform an Animality you must first meet two criteria:

1. Both you and your opponent must have each won one round (It must be Round 3)
2. when you defeat your opponent on Round 3, you must preform a Mercy( Hold Run and press Down,Down,Down, and then release the Run button as any character) and then defeat them again after they have regained their health.

Once you've defeated your opponent for the second time, then you may get into range and enter the Animality combination to earn this trophy.

You can look up the combination for your current character in the Movelist in the pause menu.

This trophy can only be gotten in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. The easiest character to do this with is Stryker.

In order to perform an Animatlity you must be on the 3rd round (you must win one round and your opponent must win one round). When the announcer says Finish Him/Her, perform a Mercy (hold and press , , ). Your opponent will be given a small amount of health. Defeat your opponent again and input the Animality button combination.

before making Animality , you need to make MERCY first

- You need to lose one round

- In the third round after the Finish Hir sign, hold down the LB button release LB (hold run, press down twice, release run)

My advice is to do Mercy and Animality on sticks, everything should work out on them the first time
