How to unlock the THE CHOSEN ONE achievement in Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection - Definitive Guide
I just got this achievement and I think I know why people are not getting it. If you have the patch update that does make it work but the thing is you need to play all three games in one sitting. I know this as i got the one for ultimate mortal kombat 3 and mortal kombat on different days. Came to finish mortal kombat 2 and I got credit for beating the game but not chosen one. I then decided to beat all three games in one sitting and "bam" the achievement unlocked once I beat umk3 again as I saved that for last. So for those seeking to complete the game make sure you do it in one sitting. if someone already stated this I apologize for re-posting but i too had problems figuring out why i wasn't getting the achievements and whatnot. good luck :-)

For those having trouble with Mortal kombat 3 i recommend using Sindel and trying to get her scream move off its a great anti air immobilizes her enemies and you can combo off it. You have to get a flow with it to get the A.I. everytime but once you do your pretty much golden. For Shao Khan be VERY paitent ! Sonya is also good if you prefer to rushdown just watch her uppercut on Shao Khan it seems to miss at times you don't want it to.

Just posting to confirm this works, I did 2 when it first came out, and then just did 1 & 3, no cheevo, did 2 and pop got it.
Also I found Sub Zero's freezing and uppercut technique to be the best, even against Shao Khan, you can freeze him before he's even gotten up and uppercut, keep the pattern going and you can get flawless

This achievement is self-explanatory except for that it appears to be glitched for some people (myself included). I didn't beat MK I, II, or III until after I had the december title update. Beating each of those granted me their respective achievements, but I did not unlock "The Chosen One."
I saw a piece of advice on x360a.org that recommended disconnecting from xbox live and playing the games again. I disconnected from Live, beat MK I again, and the achievement popped immediately after beating Shang Tsung. Hopefully this works for others.

Should I delete the title update when I go offline?

This will unlock after you beat all three games so which ever game you beat last you will get it's silver and this gold. MK1 and UMK3 won't give you much trouble but be prepared for rage in MKII. Kintaro is as big a cheat as he was back then!
Good luck, you can do it.

This will pop the same time as whichever above achievement you get last.
Easiest to Hardest:
Mortal Kombat
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

A glitchy trophy, for about 4 out of 10 it does not open after completing all 3 Combats, on Western forums people are pouring such a raid on the game and on this achievement... The most interesting thing is that the trophy may not be released even after completing all 3 games again, depending on your luck. On the forums they write that you need to replay all 3 games until you get blue again and again, on different difficulties until it randomly pops up. Personally, it was enough for me to complete the 1st Kombat (the easiest) through the 2nd round and the achievement popped up, and I recommend it to you when replaying it again, because replaying the 3rd and even more so the 2nd at such difficulty is not cake at all.

After completing the third game, in my case MK II, I did not receive the achievement. And only after re-passing MK I and UMK III, they still gave it . Whether this is true or not, I will assume that to successfully obtain it you need to complete all three games in one sitting.
