How to unlock the DIE WILL YOU achievement in Mortal Kombat X - Definitive Guide

If like me you are not good enough to do the raiden method, a much easier but longer method(around 20 hits per) choose jaqui briggs full auto, spam hand cannon (down forward Y) and pull off her x ray as soon as you get it if they are in the middle of a move all the better because your x ray has armour so can go through damage but it can still be blocked.

Ok this week is Kano and he's a pain. I'm still using Jacqui Briggs but I'm counter his kano ball with an upper cut. So block until he does his kano ball then upper cut him. After the 5th upper cut he will fly backwards. Spam the hand cannon and use your xray!!!

I tried jacqui but I can't do anything against him the best method I have found so far is sub zero unbreakable it's slow but it does the job

Ok, switch it up. The upper cut method worked for awhile then I couldn't get my xray up so I've switched to the OGs method and it's working. Lol Good luck everyone.

The invasion boss is currently Takeda and I'm using Kung Lao and just spamming down+B to get these hits in. Once I get the X-Ray,I do my best to hit it but he blocks it about 40% of the time. 20 minutes in and I'm at 9 percent.

This is the biggest joke an achievement I've seen in a while, getting combo locked by a god mode AI isn't fun and even if there wasn't an achievement attached its not even worth the effort for your faction.

OMG... this mode is awful, boss just annihilates me every time... sometimes I get lucky and hit her 3-5 times but usually it's 0-1 hits. Unfair and pretty much impossible for me. Btw, I only earn 100 coins since I can't damage her enough or survive full 30 seconds... painful.

I dealt over 100 damage to yesterday's invasion boss (Kitana, ridiculously hard) across dozens of retries but the achievement tracker didn't move from 1 per cent, which it was already on from the quick go I had last time the invasion event was live. Anyone else having this issue?

Total bullshit. Shinnok is the boss and he just kills you before you can do anything. The cpu knows your moves before you do them and you cant block. I cant even come close to breaking his armor. They have rigged this game.

This is by far the worst achievement MK could have ever thought of. I hate them for this, but I found that it is so much easier using Raiden, just keep spamming the kombo X,X,Y,Y and hit the xray whenever you can. The kombu itself will break his shield and you can get a good couple of hits in too.

It was almost impossible until I used Raiden on Erron Black and I managed to complete this in one day

Awesome to see that the invasions came back. Did my achievement in about an hour or so on Friday May 28, 2021. There should be 1 per week on a random day (a day starts at midnight EST or so, a week starts on Monday I believe). If there's not an invasion on any day of the week, it means that they have to be turned on again like this most recent one was.

Glad to see people unlocking these achievements though. If you need them still, start checking daily while you still can. And is there any chance that a "Time/Date" achievement flag can be added to the achievements, as the invasions are not available all of the time? I came back to this game after many years and thought I'd be able to finish it easily . . . until I looked at the comments and saw the invasion boss was MIA for four months. Just want people to know what they're getting into if they come back to this game.

i did my first 59%playing jaqui briggs vs shinnok, spamming down forward Y doesent work for me so i focused to do a fatality (for me it gave me at least 1% on the achievement tracker) it took me maybe 3 hours

this week is Quan chi...this dude is just garbage i took me 5 hours to get the last 41%
i did it with raiden just do your fatality if you can and hope he dont block it...good luck guys
its not hard its just so fuuuucking

It appears that there hasn't been an Invasion Tower since January 13 2021 (According to the most recent unlock dates). User JimmeC on the Playstation Trophies Forum said that they emailed the MK Team about this issue and received the following response:
"Thanks for reaching out! There has not been any announcements on invasions making a return in MKX but we are happy to pass along your interest to the team. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."

So, this is something that the developers will have to manually turn on again. Might be a good idea to let the devs know that we want them back. If they don't come back, this achievement might need to be flagged as unobtainable once again.

Invasion Bosses Show up in the Faction War menu at some point during the week and last 24 hours. Mileena is the boss for the first week (4/16/15) and you have 30 seconds to get as many hits as you can on her. She will not lose health. Just try to hit her.

Raiden's XXYY combo (Thunder God variation) is best at the moment. The 4th hit gets her from behind most of the time but a full connect will get you about 8-10 hits and his x-ray another 11 hits. You may have a few matches where she just ignores the move the whole time, but it works most of the time and makes the best progress, I got the 87% I needed in 45 minutes.

I have also had some luck playing as Lui Kang and try for Throws and X-ray moves. You can get about 1% a match if you pull one of those off. 2% if you get really lucky!

NOTE: This guide works specifically for the first invasion boss. It is yet to be seen how it will fair on the next boss, but it is method that should work on future bosses. Information will be updated if needed.

This also is a good source for Koins. You get 200 every time.

Finally got this using a mixture of Mileena's teleport kick and x-rays and Jacqui's full-auto machine gun spam and x-rays. The boss was Tremor. Fucking hard and time consuming (if you suck, like me) but just keep at it and spam the shit out of whatever attacks work and (preferably) keep you at a distance from the boss.

Just used Raiden on Shinnok, who was a cheesy, cheesy bastard. Thought I'd add a few comments I hadn't seen yet:

1. As soon as 'Fight' fades from the screen spam the everloving crap out of the X button to try to get in a hit & start the combo. I almost never got in the full XXYY at the start of the fight, but was consistently able to get in a few hits, which is important because...

2. Shinnok's shield absorbs the first 5 hits or so, meaning he'll flash yellow but completely ignore all "damage" and cannot be staggered. He'll just walk right through your moves and beat the piss out of you, but...

3. After landing 5 or so good hits the "shield" breaks and Shinnok reacts normally to hits. It also becomes MUCH easier to land XXYY combos, build the meter and fire off an X-Ray.

I thought I'd point these things out due to negative comments about the Raiden method, or claims that it's too hard. Because once you break that shield down you can *repeatedly* land XXYY combos plus an X-Ray for massive progress. You just need a lucky start.

Realistically, 80% of my games were me getting backed into a corner and pummeled, maybe landing 3-4 hits, or sometimes none at all. But those matches were over quickly. Another 10-15% usually involved landing an X-Ray plus a few random hits for 1-2% progress toward the achievement. The remaining 5% or so were rounds where I got a good enough start early on that I mopped the floor with Shinnok, popping an X-Ray and then keeping him at bay for another 20 seconds with repeated XXYY combos. These matches were easily 4-6% progress. Took me around an hour overall to get the entire 1000 hits done.

I found the best solution to this was to select Raiden (Thunder God variation) as your character. You do not need any knowledge on how to use this character just to follow a simple 4 button combo. What you need to do is use the 'X,X,Y,Y' combo, however it is important to note that you need to hold the last 'Y' so (X,X,Y,Hold Y). This will net you anything around 11-13 hit combo. It is also important to keep an eye on your X-Ray move bar...as soon as you get the opportunity and the boss character is within range Hit 'LT' and 'RT' together and this will initiate the X-Ray move which will also net you an 11 hit combo. Using this method, I was able to gain about 4-6% per round towards the achievement.

You can net this achievement in around 30 minutes following this method.

In addition to the Raiden and Jacqui solutions, I find that using Kung Lao is also very effective. Once you drop the boss' yellow aura, Kung Lao's throw does 18 hits everytime it's landed, effectively cutting the amount of team needed to pop this achievement in half.

Side note: When using Raiden, his 'Electrocute' Special does 8 hits per attack, which is a very useful counter to Mileena's teleport kick if you're like me and awful at timing the XXYY combo for full effect.

I used lui kang flaming fist style spammed forward back forward B it's an 8 hit kombo that will wipe out there shield in 1 also his X-Ray is a 15 hit kombo other moves I used were forward BBBB quick 4 hit kombo and down back A counter high moves

16 Apr 2015 19:35

Maybe not the best solution, but if you are struggling with boss, try out Jacqui method.
Style: Full auto
Spam: cn_downcn_rightcn_Y

You should get a lot of hits that way. Also once you will fill up X-Ray then go try to give it a shot.
Not my solution, but my movie below fighting against Sub-Zero (2019-09-25)

This is just a "addition comment" so you can see how it works. Around 1-2h of doing so, and you should get the achievement.

The best method for this I believe is to pick Jacqui Briggs as your character and choose full auto variation, now spam her Hand Cannon move down, towards cn_T and whenever you can use her X RAY move cn_R2+cn_L2, the meter builds up pretty fast if you can keep pulling off her hand cannon move... Then retry and just keep going, shouldn't take more than an hour... Hope this helps.

It kinda depends on what the invasion boss is, Jacqui would have been a terrible choice for the most recent boss, however Raiden was almost perfect.

I checked for invasion bosses the last couple of weeks on a daily basis. To no luck.
So I decided to turn to the official MKX support at:
https://mortalkombatgamessupport.wbgames.com/hc/en-us/reques...

Only a few hours later I got this reply:

(...)
I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us regarding the availability of invasion bosses and I understand you would like to take part in that fun.

In cases like this, please understand that our Support Team typically doesn't receive advanced notice of events or when they will become available. Having said that, I will be happy to reach out to the Game Team to let them know there is interest in an update on the next Invasion event.
(...)
If you are also stuck at 99% just like me why not creating another ticket at WB-Games support. Hopefully the invasion boss will be brought back.

the best strength to achieve this achievement is to use a perspnage that you play well, i for example use sub zero. another thing that helps is the head of the invasion to be jason, because i one of his variations he has the ability to stay armored . when he uses this agility a bug occurs in the game and his infinite armor is disabled, making it very easy to make up to 40 hits on him ...

On a rondom day during the week, the standard Faction Bonus will be replaced with an INVASION event. During this time, the normally disabled Invasion Boss and Invasion Tower is available.

For this achievement, you must score 1000 hits on the boss. However, hits only count after you drop the armor. On the plus side, the hits are cumulative over ALL bosses. You can split it up over many weeks and your total will still run. So if you get fed up (especially on that trick Corrupted Shinnok), you can go away and come back to a more manageable boss. Also to note, if a variation of that boss is giving you too much trouble, go back to player select and a different variation of the boss may appear.

As for combos, Full Auto Jacqui's gun (cn_downcn_rightcn_Y), Liu Kang's quick combos, and Thunder God Raiden's quick combo (cn_Xcn_Xcn_Ycn_Yhold) can help you get hits. However, that armor is a bitch and you might want to try low attacks to drop armor. Down + front kick is universal for everyone, but check out practice mode to make sure a low attack is not a "Mid" attack.

Frustrating, slow, but not impossible. Grind if you must, but space it out for sanity's sake. There is no tracker available for hits.

BONUS: If you manage to last a full 30 seconds, you'll instantly have your health dropped, but you unlock the Farmer Jax card for the MKX Mobile app.

I personally used Kung Lao, against Goro.

I basically got it off TA, but here are my personal tips:

1. If you get Tigrar Fury, exit. His flame range screws up the general strategy.
2. Use the jump hat to break the shield. Jump over, hit him, it won't always work, but it works a lot.
3. When he gets his shield broken, use his throw. 18 hits is the highest number you can get.
4. X-Rays, if you get them, are lovely. Use those too.

I also faced Predator one week. I think he'd be horrible against him due to laser spreads.

To have access to this game mode, you first need to select Online option in the main menu. This is to gain access to the online portion of the game and get connected to the servers.

Now that you have access to the servers, go back to the main menu again and select Faction option and see if this mode is enabled; otherwise you need to come back later.

Once this mode is enabled, it lasts only 24 hours before another Invasion happens. The main objective in this mode is to fight against a super hard AI opponent with a golden shield (untouchable). You need to hit him/her as many times per match as you can. The 1,000 hits are cumulative so you don't need to hit the boss 1,000 in the same match.

Here are some tips:
  • Do not expect to win it, it's impossible.
  • The matches won't take too long.
  • Do not panic if you lose by flawless victory in the first matches, the learning curve has just started.
  • The opponent seems invincible, but it isn't.
  • If you land a hit by luck and the opponent shows in yellow for a fraction of second, it doesn't count as a hit.
Here are two recommended methods to deal with this super fighter:
  • In the beginning, this fighter turns angry and starts to grab and hit you like crazy, blocking everything you are trying to land. Another strategy besides blocking is the parry move, so you need to use a parry fighter such as Liu Kang.
  • He can parry almost everything using his move Dragon Parry by pressing .
  • The problem in this fight is the timing to parry, so you need to learn the enemy moves and keep parrying as much as you can.
  • Even with this parry move the fight is impossible, but every parry you land hits the enemy twice. So if you can parry 10-15 times in a good match, you will get ~30 hits.
  • The other reason to pick Liu Kang is because he is one of the fastest fighters in the game and here is the best reason: your X-Ray meter will increase very fast and if you can hit your opponent with it, it will count as another 15 hits. No other fighter can land as many hits with an X-Ray move as Liu Kang. Plus, the hits you could do with the parry will be much better.
  • After performing the X-Ray move and if your rival doesn't block it, the shield will be gone and he/she can receive move damage.
  • Now you can hit him/her with jumping and pressing , you will do more hits.
Using Lui Kang and following these tips you can unlock this trophy in around 50-70 matches, depending highly on your personal skill.

If you are struggling with the parry move, there's another method using Raiden (Thunder God variation) and spamming one easy combo: , , , (Hold) . For visual reference, you can watch the video. Thanks to Nobodygrotesque for the information.

Any of these two methods should be enough to unlock this trophy in less than 1 hour.

Though Jaqui Briggs is a good choice, I recommend using Raiden for this trophy since the AI often will attack immediately and will disrupt the input of using Jaqui's guns (what happened to me). Here's what I did:

1. Choose Raiden's "Thunder God" variation, this opens up the preferred cn_X, cn_X, cn_T (hold), cn_T (hold) combo which gets up to 11+ hits depending on if you use meter or not (recommend not burning it).
2. If you're lucky, you will break the boss' armor on the first go at the combo and can then start racking up hits (hits only count after breaking the armor).
3. You will get hit one way or another, but this can be good because you will build meter for Raiden's X-ray. The X-ray can be tough to pull off if you hold it before releasing because the boss will simply block the attack, so wait for them to begin or be in the middle of an attack to pull it off for 13 hits.
4. Every so often, the AI will just wreck you and you'll end up dying super quickly without getting a chance to try a hit. For this, try your best to block and break up the flow of the hits and try the combo again.

The boss can never be defeated as the armor is tied to how long they have left before they disappear. Even if you last the 30 seconds that are in this match, you will simply die. No way to avoid it. In any stance, you will get koins so keep replaying it. You can get frustrated with how well the AI reads and just annihilates you, but persevere and you'll get this in a couple of hours at most.

Found an extremely easy way. Pick Jason Vorhees Unstoppable variation. As soon as the match starts, activate his armor breaking buff (cn_downcn_downcn_A). The first hit will break the armor of the boss and it will be much easier to hit him. Keep doing different combos and you should get it in about an hour or so.

Don't consider this as a guide of its own, but a suplement for the previously posted guides here.
I got this achievement today in more or less 3 hours, the current Invasion Boss is Bo' Rai Cho and I must say his A.I. is beyond broken.
Anyway, I tried the Jacqui and Liu Kang spam a little, but for the most part I used the aforementioned Raiden method.
Aside from the X,X,Y,Y combo, prioritize performing an X-Ray.
Now, there are 2 very important things that I want to mention and hopefully make your grind easier:
1.- The A.I. of the boss is ridiculously cheap, it reads your inputs before their animations go off and prepares the counter attack, to avoid this, don't get all button mashy, every time the boss knocks you down onto the ground, let them attack first so you have time to block and counter attack.
2.- YOU CAN EXPLOIT THE VARIATION OF THE BOSS
If after the fight you return to the character select screen and choose either the same character you were playing as or a new one, there's a big chance that the boss will be in a different variation; The boss can show up in any of the 3 variations, as well as the 4th "basic" variation.
For example, Bo' Rai Cho had his Bartitsu variation at first and he was giving me a pretty hard time, so I returned to the character select screen and chose my character again, that way the boss was now in his Drunken Variation, which made this easier for me.
Depending on the boss, put them in the variation you can fight best and grind your way, I wish you good luck.

Invasion Boss Fights are only available during an active Invasion event. To see if there is an Invasion in progress, you can check the Faction section of the main menu. There are a couple of things to be aware off before you take on this achievement. The first is that the number of hits doesn't correlate to the amount of damage inflicted you are shown in the results screen, so if you inflicted 80 damage, that doesn't mean you hit the boss 80 times. As such there is no real way to track this achievement other than to check your tracker and work out what percentage of 1000 you are on. The second thing is that at the start of each match the boss is shielded, when you hit them you will see them flash gold and they will act like nothing happened, these initial hits before the shield is broken will not count towards the achievement.

Now that's out of the way, there are two methods we can use to score a good amount of hits per match. The first, recommended, method is to use Raiden and his combo. It's easy to pull off and you don't even need to hit then with every attack to score multiple hits as the last strike is a lightning punch that does multiple hits on its own. If you are struggling with pulling off this combo for some reason, then you can also try using a character with a high hit x-ray move like Jaqui Briggs or Lui Kang; both of their x-rays will hit 15 times. Whichever method you find works best for you just keep plugging away whenever you find an invasion boss available until you have your 1000 hits.

The point is that AI has a pattern. When you block while standing, it makes a low blow, and if you block while sitting, the computer makes a high blow, which is logical in principle.
This also happens when you fall and are able to get up. The whole problem is that the computer calculates this information as soon as you lie down and start to get up and when you rise you press the block while standing, then the bot will hit a low blow, and if the block is sitting then a high blow. The theme is that in the smallest fraction of seconds you have to manage to press the squat button in order to catch the AI, it will be very difficult to do this, but I advise you to try.

It also happens while standing, if you hold the block in a crouch, the computer can make a jumping kick, which is considered high, at this moment it can also be caught.

BUT I repeat once again that this requires a VERY VERY quick reaction

I’ll also add about the heroes, it will be very convenient to fight with buffed heroes (for those who don’t know, this is when it takes a few seconds before a special blow), at these moments you can really catch them. And also on the same topic, a different fighter can drop out each time, but the fact is that every time he enters a battle, he changes his style and choose the one that buffs the most. As an example, Shinnok - Necromancer, before hitting with a bone hand, a few seconds.

Hits against the invasion boss count all those inflicted after the armor was removed, and it is not necessary to withstand 30 seconds since I was given this achievement after losing

• You can't kill the boss. The fact that he always wins is the norm.

• At some point in the past, a patch was released for the game that made the boss much more difficult. Nowadays it’s practically impossible to approach it - this is also the norm. The old tips where comrades easily made a trophy in an hour with one blow no longer work. Now this is a humiliating boost for 3-6 hours depending on the skill.

• You need to hit the boss 1000 times. It is the hits, not the damage points that are shown after the match.

• The trophy is cumulative. Strikes are saved between fights and between different week bosses.

• Impacts are not shown anywhere. It's done blindly. The trophy could fall out now, or maybe in two hours. It's downright tiring and infuriating. I recommend keeping rough records on a piece of paper. I drew a stick for a fight in which there was a successful 10-hit combo or X-Ray. Two sticks for a fight with two kombuchs, etc.

• The boss appears in armor. First* you need to knock it down: any five blows that do not hit the block. A counted hit to the armor will flash green. The sixth blow penetrates the armor and you can already see splashes of blood there and that the blow has passed. It's damn hard because hits to the armor don't stop the boss or knock him back. He doesn’t react to blows at all and immediately begins to attack.

* They write here that hits to armor are also counted, but in my opinion, still not. I spent several hours boosting the trophy by hitting the armor 3-4 times and dying, and it didn’t lead to anything. Others say that hits to armor count if you die on a timer of 30 seconds.

X-Ray is one of the boost methods. But in order to accumulate a Meter bar, you need to hit the boss in the armor at least a couple of times. Then you can do X-Ray even if the armor has not yet been knocked down. The first X-Ray hits will remove the remaining armor. Also X-Ray stops the timer.

To prevent X-Ray from getting into the block, you need to provoke the boss into some kind of blow, for example, by stepping on him. If you just do X-Ray out of the blue, the boss will consistently block it. Also, according to my observations, the boss always does some kind of attack or combo if you wake up next to him: i.e. if at the end of his previous episode our character ends up next to the boss, we immediately hit him + when our character starts to get up.

• The second method is kombukhi. Don't reinvent the wheel and train Raiden's combos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqmNtJWW8LM
I spent several hours going through the options. I really liked how Milena breaks through the armor , but in the end things started to work out when I learned this combo for Raiden. It works even after the patch.

We hit the square when the announcer says Round 1. Fight! When we see that the battle has begun, we end the combo with a triangle, wait half a second, and hold down the triangle. If everything went well, the end of the combo will completely remove the boss's armor. Then I managed to repeat the combo 1-2 more times or at least do X-Ray .

• You can also try the third option: Liu-Kangk counter-attacks :back: , but I haven't tried it. I leave it like this for the sake of completeness.

• You can restart the boss several times: it will change variations. You can choose the one that is simpler. For example, I beat Triborg and of all his variations, Sector seemed simpler to me.

• The only squeeze that I found was jumping on the boss without hitting. At the very end of the flight, we make a punch and start a combo. It doesn’t always work, of course, but at least it’s something.

For those who play poorly, the achievement takes a very long time and is tedious, the last boss I had was someone else’s, I spent 6 hours hammering him, somehow in one battle I dealt 30 damage or even more. But this was not enough. We are waiting for the next one. Note - the boss cannot be killed, you need to deal as much damage as possible.

As of 08/2018, the above tips do not work. The boss is not pierceable, it does not miss more than one hit (the armor works), breakers also do not work and the life of the boss does not decrease. I will describe the optimal and fastest way:
1. Take Sub Zero "impenetrability"
2. We try to catch the boss with such a technique for a longer time and perform an uppercut so that the enemy flies away from us, it will turn out (1 hit freezing 1 hit uppercut) two hits per action. After an hour of playing, I learned to do it quickly and on time so that the boss did not cause me damage.
3. Strikes are counted only when you last for 30 seconds. In about a round you will be able to deliver 10 hits, and if at the end you make x-ray, you will be able to deliver more than 15 strikes.
Accordingly, one round of 10 hits = in 10 minutes you will get 100 hits and in 1 hour 40 minutes = 1000. Of course, you will not immediately master the tactics, since the boss is very fast and makes long combos. But the more often you play, the more successful your fights will be. You can also track your hits like this: when fighting a boss, remember how much money you have, for each round you win you are given 300 coins (10 hits) = accordingly, approximately 1000 hits is 30,000 coins (only for losing you are given 100 coins and hits are not counted ) so you need to earn approximately 30,000-35,000 coins.

Finished the Alien boss in 2 hours. Played as Raiden (God of Thunder) (hold)

Video

The main thing is not to get into the corner, otherwise he will start his combos. The fact that he catches you on the last blow is normal. The scale accumulates, and from this capture you lose a little HP.

I hammered the boss for three hours. According to estimates, he won about 85 fights under the time limit, delivering an average of at least 10 blows. Hemorrhoids are still the same. The achievement never came out. Before that, I simply counted the total hits (it doesn’t matter whether it’s a loss or a win), I counted 220. Based on logic, I hit 850, well, from those 220, about 50 were successful, leaving 100 hits left. Stock up on valerian, tea and TV series, the bosses are incredibly powerful and hard to beat. It's a shame that he's also the boss once a week.

The first time a stranger fell out as a boss, I fought with him for 7 hours, almost always stood against him for 30 seconds and knocked down his armor, but after being removed it was rarely possible to hit him several times. The second time Jason fell out (it was much easier with him) it was rare that it was impossible not to hit him after removing the armor. as a result: against an alien I managed to hit him about 200 times, Jason 600 (precisely after removing the armor) + I didn’t record when I hit him not in a combo 1-2 times.

So my conclusion is; strikes are protected precisely after the armor is removed
PS: Raiden Van Love

At the time of the trophy, i.e. December 17, 2021, the tips above will not be relevant. You don't need to hit and survive for 30 seconds, and hits to the shield (the first 5 hits) count. You can just hit the armor and not survive for 30 seconds, everything will count.

It was this tip that helped, BUT I’ll add.
Now hits to the shield also count towards the trophy, the main thing is to hold out for 30 seconds.
Killed the boss - Tanya.
Unlike the tip above, after parrying-freezing Sub-zero (impenetrability), spamming combo and then parry again. In this case, there is no need to wait until the boss runs up after throwing back with an uppercut. + took an x-ray (5 more blows).
1.5 hours and the trophy dropped.

Finally achieved this achievement on 12/03/2019. I'll add my advice. As far as I understand, the AI has been tweaked a lot since the game's release in Boss Invasion, which makes it difficult to consistently score combos. I have developed 3 working tactics.

1. Try to hit a skill combo for your main. I main Mileena, so I spent the first seconds of the round on a reinforced roll, which does good damage to armor when it hits. Then, after removing the armor, go to the combo in Piercing, where those piercing these sais deal 8 hits somewhere, in a combo it’s quite 10+ hits.

2. "Cheap" tactics for Thunder God Raiden. The point is to spam 112(hold)2(hold). This combo deals a lot of hits and knocks down armor well, but it has become much more difficult to abuse it, because The AI is very strong. If the boss has tackles (some kind of Sub Zero or Aaron Black), then this abuse will rarely work, because the boss will often be in a crouch. Therefore, if Raiden does not work, we move on to the next cheap attack.

3. Goro's first wara (the one with the blade walk on fb4). The meaning of the abuse: we remove the armor by jumping (du). The boss almost never punishes this technique. On wakeup it is best to stick a meter walk (bf4), there is a very strong shield that often interrupts the boss’s attack and deals many strong blows to the armor. After removing the armor, we continue to abuse the boss by jumping and walking. The disadvantage of this tactic is that there is only one jumping strike, it is best to strike while walking, there are about 5-6 strikes.

I can also assume that hits to armor still count, because the achievement came, in my opinion, too early, because I couldn’t always penetrate the armor, and I couldn’t have 1000 hits after armor. Again, I feel like I could be wrong.

Finally, I can advise you to wait for the weaker boss. For example, I finished off my achievement on Takeda, he seemed to me the least powerful, so I was able to combine him with my main Mileena. It was rarely possible to break through all sorts of wild Liu Kans, Eyrons and Sabas with main; I had to use abuse.

The easiest way is if the boss is invading Predator
Choose Kung Lao. The main thing is that the Predator should be in the Warrior style
This is a mandatory condition, I’ll explain why
In warrior style, the traitor hangs a mine on himself that explodes, causing damage to himself. And thus he simply takes off his armor
It’s easy to deceive the AI, let yourself be beaten, hold it down and it immediately starts buffing the mine
You wait until it explodes and then you try to make a grab in 1 battle, you can make 2-3 grabs
1 grab=18 hits

For information. I got the trophy in the middle of the battle. And the boss’s armor was not penetrated at that moment. Moreover, that day I never lasted 30 seconds (before the “You hit the boss” sign), and it took about twenty-five minutes or about forty boss fights. During that invasion, I spent three or four Xrays and just poked the boss several times without ever breaking through his armor (X-ray doesn’t count). It’s possible that my trophy was glitched.
For reference: after receiving the trophy in my statistics: ~625 boss fights, total damage ~43000. This information can be viewed by going to the lists of faction leaders and selecting yourself.

Don't like people's brains, guys!!! I played as Liu Kang (Fire Fist), spammed a defensive attack (Thanks to Soanydroid): "Dragon reflects the blow" ! During the entire 2.5 hours, I was able to remove the armor at most 5 times, and that was only by force! About the armor it’s complete nonsense, just try to survive until the x-ray is active, if you are the first to reflect the blow, the scale will be filled with a bonus and after a few caught hits it will be ready, and... fire...

You can make this trophy much easier for yourself by choosing Liu Kang in the Fire Fist style. Our task is to constantly parry the boss's blows with a combination . Regardless of whether you parry the blows successfully or not, our treasured super-strike scale is filled. In general, we should save up for X-Ray and immediately use it on the boss. And considering that he calmly knocked out this trophy from Liu Kang with 15 blows in an hour and a half.

The boss takes you out in one go, and, for example, Scorpio also does this very quickly without taking damage.

Tactics . The boss should be an Alien, the fighting style should be Tarkatan (if you choose Automatic from Briggs, then it will be this one, if not, then restart the battle first by selecting a character). Knock out the Jackie Briggs trophy with the Automatic fighting style. It's very simple - we spam the reception (hand cannon). Firstly, it often deals damage to the boss, and secondly, the Alien has a counter-move that deals little damage and quickly fills the scale for the x-ray move. Naturally, once you have dialed the scale, press L2+R2. Knocked it out in about an hour or two. After the crash, it was even possible to carry it with a cannon.

This method is good because you will gain 100% of the x-ray scale; Briggs' x-ray was blocked by the Alien by only a percentage of 10% maximum.

Regarding past tips and their relevance: 1. Liu Kang, Raiden are useless now. 2. Scorpio is really a demon. landed 1-2 hits per fight. Better to wait for the next boss. 3. Now all hits count, including those on armor, but unfortunately not on the block.

I must admit that now the bosses are much more difficult than in 2015 and it is almost impossible to win this trophy. In YouTube videos, bosses look more like vegetables, but now they don’t let you land a single blow.
