You can simply press the Start button and choose Skip Tutorial, if you choose to do so and skip through every tutorial segment and the achievement will unlock.

for those having issues with the tutorial just so you know if you are enable to do some of the moves you can just skip it and get the achievements at the end of the tutorial
I was having issue with these

so briefly you don't have to do all the moves at all just end the tutorial

had same exact problem and never succedeed in doing that. Skipped and the cheevo popped out at the end. ;)

Thanks for clearing that up. I was about to break the disc after trying the B, Back Forward B Combo for straight 15 minutes yesterday :D

xXDonReneXx I was frustrated as well and you are not the only one luckyly i skipped it so that I can retry it and saw the cheevo poped after then I told my twin brother who have had the same issue to skip it so He confirmed that the trick worked but I knew thousands of our brothers will prolly have the issue so that is why I posted it and I'm happy that helped you all

I finally started up Mortal Kombat a couple of days ago, but couldn’t even complete the tutorial, so I quit in embarassment and frustration. I’m so glad to see others struggling with it, so I still may give Mortal Kombat another chance

You DO NOT have to complete these tutorials to unlock the trophy as you can simply hit the options button on your controller and select skip tutorial and it will move you along to the next one! However If your playing this game for the 1st time I would strongly advise to try and complete as many of the tutorials as you can just so you understand the moves and techniques involved...

The tutorial is available from the beginning on. It can be accessed from the main menu, but is completely optional (you don't have to play it to progress in the game). This means you can press

to skip everything without even play it anything, but it’s recommended to play it to have a total picture of the new features in the game.

It consists of four parts:

Basics
Kombos
Special Moves
Advanced

Completing (or skipping) all parts will earn you the trophy.

The tutorial can be found under the One Player area of the Main Menu, select Training > Tutorial. The tutorial consists of four sections:

Basics
Kombos
Special Moves
Advanced

You don't have to complete all the sections to unlock the achievement. You can skip them all using , however you go about it the achievement will unlock once the tutorial is finished.
