How to unlock the My Kung Fu Is Stronger achievement in Mortal Kombat - Definitive Guide

For Victories and Fatalities, go to options and set it to 1 round. Plug in a second controller and play 2 player versus. At the loading screen input the following kombat kode 044-440 for sans power. With 1 punch it goes to FINISH HIM, making the 100 victories and finishers go by way fast. The biggest pain is having to input the code every match. Find the easiest fatality/stage fate/babality to do to make life simpler.

For X-Rays, go to options and set the rounds to 3. This time play 2 player tag match. At the loading screen input the following kombat kode 466-466 for unlimited super meter. This allows you to get 6-8 X-Rays per round, 18-24 per match. You'll have 150 in no time. Again having to input the code every match is a pain, but that's why you do 3 rounds instead of 2, so you have to do it less often.

For the 24 hours of play time, go to practice -> tag team practice. Choose 2 characters and leave your console on while you go to sleep/work/out. *Be sure your controller is wired or is connected via a charging device. If the controller turns off, practice mode will go to the pause menu and not count the time.

The 10,000 pints of blood spilled will be acquired as you work toward mastering the other statistical aspects.

Hope this helps! Have fun! (ha)

Holy .... CRAP. This isn't even worth doing, I run the risk of red ringing my xbox, and I'll be doing waaaaay too much work for one lousy achievement.

lol, this is a hot candidate for the "most time consuming achievement" of the year and it's the reason why only a few people will ever complete MK with a 1000 GS.

Does anybody knows how long can u let your xbox turned on before red ringing or is it impossible to say???

To add to this solution if you have a 2nd Box and the data is saved to save not to profile you can leave a copy of your profile on one box getting hours played while still playing online on another box.

How you do this is put your save and profile on 2nd box. Then recover your profile onto a Flash drive on 2nd box. Now you have a copy that can not sign into live.

Move good copy of profile to 1st box and play other games and get achievements in whatever other game you want all while you crap account is getting hours played.

I have done this for the past 6 days and after I get 22 hours I fullfill the rest of the requirements for the mastery which take 2 hours or less depending on you.

Anyone know if you have to max stats out for Kenshi and the other DLC warriors as well if you get the DLC?

I have almost all the characters done except for time........and I have 9 totally mastered since launch of the game which is on pace to do it in less than 2 months.

this is a good guide. would have to agree very time consuming but well worth the TA score when i finally get it by the end of the year

Yes very good guide i just did a little variation of this to gain some time, i just finished to masterise all the stats today unless the 24 hours of each char that probably i'll finish next week i have 2 xbox and i play 4 days with one then i just change to the other to prevent the 3rls and i'm almost there one of the longest achievements of the games.

@TheIrishBeast - it most certainly does. reread the guide as you must have done something wrong (as in not used a wired controller). either you don't follow instructions or you just wanted reason to give it a negative vote...

Very odd.. but I left my game in tag team practice with a wire controller, and with the analogue stick taped to the left... when i woke up this morning and looked at the time (after about 8 hours) ... it hadn't gone up at all..

WTF :/

By Pukey UK on 23 May 2011 10:16
hmm. interesting. i don't tape my stick or anything... just leave it idle. did it last night with ermac and jade, woke up today and had an additional 11 hours on their time and 2 more fighters mastered! I don't know what you guys are doing wrong, but it's something..

By ClaytThaGreat on 23 May 2011 15:42
Yeah. I'm still doing my posted solution (since I don't have a wired controller) and it's still workin' like a charm for me. Woke up today with Quan Chi and Liu Kang nearly mastered, so I don't think it's a problem with the game...

By Ridley Prime on 23 May 2011 20:23
no.... there is no problem with my solution at all... just returned to me xbox and jax & johnny cage just went from roughly 4 hours to over 9 hours... haters will hate... or rebos will be retarded. (from main menu -> Training -> Tag Team Practice -> 2 selected characters vs. 2 opponents whose time will not count because they are NPC's). What is so hard about it? Works for me and apparently 22 other people as well....

Whoa, whoa! I wasn't meaning to say anything was wrong with your solution, unless that comment was directed toward someone else. If I kinda implied there was something wrong with it (which I guess I might have with the way I worded it), then I apologize, as that wasn't the intention. I was merely backing up you by saying the whole tag team training thing still worked for me, and that there was something wrong with the way those who could not get it to work were doing it. I'm no hater..

I'm curious Clay if maybe he is misreading the total time info. The first number is days, the second number is hours, the last number is minutes. I left my XBox on all night and woke up and checked and was like woah what the heck 7 min 56 secs? Then I said ahhhh wait 7 HOURS 56 Minutes that made me feel better lol.

By I am Gozer24 on 31 May 2011 09:18
yeah. another possibility is he has 2 controllers plugged in and goes to training -> tag practice with the controller that isn't signed into his primary profile. in that case, it wouldn't count any time.

Great guide.

But I'd just like to point out one thing. I've found that if you do any fatality other than the standard 2 fatalities for each character, they don't count in the Master statistics.

By T IR E L O N on 12 Jun 2011 14:38
@trelon: in the early character masteries i was doing, stage fatalities worked. not sure about babalities... but it's been a while so idk if NRS changed that (although i don't see why they would).

Oh Clay I do have a minor edit if you like. You can actually do 13 Xrays in one match. I think you forgot that you can FINISH HIM! with an Xray attack as well making it 5 in the final round for 13 total. Not a big deal just thought it was worth mentioning.

By I am Gozer24 on 18 Jun 2011 12:56
I think if you just quit out after leaving it, it doesn't save, as this is what I did because I was in a hurry, and didn't wanna just leave it for the whole day after leaving it on all night as well. Not 100% sure what makes it save, so just play a match of online or tower, or something that earns koins, that seems to do the trick, hope this helps.

Oh hell no, Fatalaties do not go faster lol...I knocked out X-Rays fast, and now I'm slowly working through the fatalaties.
X-Rays in 3 rounds(tag) can total 18 for some characters, 21 in total, and 24 for some characters. (assuming your are putting in combat codes).

I wish if you were in tag and did a fatalaty with one character, that it would count for both your characters. That would make life easy.

Agreed. I dread fatalities...too annoying to keep track of. Calling shenanigans on blood spilled btw. Im averaging around 7.5k after fatalaties / x rays with a few wxceptions. Rather annoying to go back and do.

Yeah blood spilled doesn't always add up depending on the character you're using. What I did was during fatality boosting, I'd change over to tag (for 3 rounds) when my fate's were in the late 80's or 90's and start spamming whatever move or combos shed the most blood and then fatality at the end for the remaining pints I needed.

What's the best way to boost Johnny Cage's X-Ray, since it's a counter attack?

Snorlax: When you launch Cage's xray just punch/kick him with the 2nd controller to start the counter attack.

There are 198 people who have completed this game as of 2/15/12, I have done everything except this and have been working on it. I have done over half of everyones x-rays, all the 24 hours and feel like I still have so much more I need. This achievement SUCKS! But if I ever finish it I will be part of the Occupy Kombat movement because we are the 1%...

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD TO ALL HUNTERS FOR THIS ACHIEVEMENT: The shortest timed fatality is the Subway Stage fatality, taking 12 seconds, and stage fatalities also give more pints for blood spilled milestone. Happy Hunting!

btw...dont play 3 rounds for X-Rays. "you will get X-rays in no time". maybe. but if you play 5 matches with 3 rounds you can only get 5 fatalities. so it is better to play matches with 1 round. this way you have less loading screens and you have to enter codes less often.

Something to consider re: the pints of blood. A normal human holds around 10 pints of blood. They would have to completely exsanguinate 1000 opponents each for that. That would be 27000 kills minimum, but I don't think they are making us do that many. laugh

The solution is good but needs additional info on blood spilling. For some characters, you don't automatically get enough blood spilled once all X-rays and fatalities are done!!! Characters I am having problems with (at least 2000 pints left to do): ermac, jax, johnnycage, kabal, mileena. Probably more below, not there yet.
Please add info on best way to complete missing blood, based on for instance this:

it's been a long time since I've looked at this guide, but visited it just now for some reason. every character has attacks that visibly draw a substantial amount of blood. in RE: to the above post, mileena and kabal -- use their blades; jax i believe has a grab and punch attack that if i recall is relatively successfull (or just standard jabs will prob do); with cage, his orbs dont do much of anything so prob just stick to jabs; ermac also very similar as he specializes in thrown "non-violent" projectiles and would be likely be best boosted with punches/kicks. I believe (though am not positive) that gory fatalities also contribute pints.

There should be a note on this guide that says DLC characters are not included, only unlockable + base ones.

Just a word.. BACK UP YOUR GAME SAVE FROM TIME TO TIME. Copy it to a usb drive. This is one of my most favorite games and I was probably half way done with this without boosting it. Almost a million in koins.. and my game save got corrupted and lost some how.

This is just one of the stupidest achievement I have ever seen in a game 😂 I love Mortal Kombat since I was a little kid and I love MK9, one of my all time favorite fighting games, but this achievement is just none sense; like the seriously 3.0 in Gears of War 3

If anyone else loses their progress for MK9 when playing it BC on Xbox One or Series X.

When booting the game go straight to options and storage devices and select Cloud Storage, now you should have your old Progress.

despite promising dlc/shipped character equality, NRS/Boon have not added DLC spots in the Nekropolis nor any additional achievements, so no. they really don't record their "stats."

I would much rather they don't include their stats at all than run the risk of having to master more characters. laugh But thanks for the tips, I'm just finishing x-rays with all characters now and I'm praying that the fatalities go by a bit faster.

Its not THAT bad.

Its 336 hours. I usually keep my xbox open for 6-12 hours in a day and never had any red ring. + With a new Xbox Slim, way less chance of overheating. First of all, you just have to install the game on your harddrive, like that your xbox is using less energy, then less heat.

Boost 6 hours per day; its 112 days. Approx 4 months.

I've played so many games in the Halo series. Around 15K Halo 2, 6K Halo 3 and less than a K in Reach but whatever, point is, 336 hours isn't THAT Bad. If we couldn't do the Tag team, then 672 hours would have been eternity to work on.

I don't even plan on getting it in 4 months, but by the end of 2011, I guess I will have it.

no, no Ridley, I was directing my comment more toward TheIrishBeast, who seems to think my guide is a joke because he doesn't understand how duration-time boosting is done. Pukey UK seems to have done it correctly previously, but is having troubles now (for what reason, I cannot imagine). Like I said, I don't bother taping my stick because it is unnecessary. I use a wireless controller and plug it into my console with a charging cable and ensure that the light on the cable is either red (currently charging) or green (fully charged) so that I know that the controller is connected directly with the console and my controller will not shut off due to being idle. There really is no other way to enter practice aside from going from the main single player menu into training, from there you go to tag practice. I don't see how people are having issues, as again I have been boosting all of last night and tonight and am recording time successfully with multiple characters. If this guide doesn't help you Irish, you cannot be helped... perhaps you are just upset because you know you will never be able to win 10 ranked matches in a row :(

Just a word of warning for the time achievement. Once you are going to exit the tag team practice, make sure you do not just choose main menu, and then dashboard/turn off your console. You MUST do something in the menus for it to store your time that you just achieved. Go visit the nekropolis for example, and check the time registered. If you just quit the game and leave without choosing a mode or something like the nekropolis, it will not register the time you spent once you load up the game next time.

I learned this the hard way by wasting a 12 hour session with Sindel/Ermac by just quiting to main menu and turning off the console. :(

I was having the same problem with my time not counting. When you exit your practice match, go into the krypt before turning off your console. My time has counted evertime I have done that.

Ok, so i've owned Mortal Kombat for a long time now and I finally decided to tackle this BS time konsuming achievement because its the last one i need, I like getting the 100 Percent. xD

First things first, before I even started heading for this achievement I had nearly gotten the required blood spilled on most champions and I played Scorpion heavily online so I nearly mastered him kompletely anyway this may be similar for you or you may be starting from scratch, either way this will help. i have read the kurrent solutions and they were helpful but I thought i would throw out my take on it. So go easy on me (First decent solution ive ever made). :|

I decided to keep track of all my stats by using a grid I typed up, I kopied the info from Nekropolis so I could keep track of the Characters (ordered alphabetically). Thanks to this grid I did each requirement without having to return to check when I was finished with each character. Oh and btw, DLC characters dont count :L

Sorry about all the lines, TA doesn't like multiple spaces, lines were my only option. =(

COPY AND PASTE THIS INTO YOUR MS NOTEPAD AND CHANGE THE INFO TO YOURS ^^ :D ONCE YOU COMPLETE SEVERAL X-RAYS/ WINS/FATALITIES/BLOOD SPILLS OR TIME, EDIT THE INFORMATION ACCORDINGLY :D

It would be a good idea to check up on Nekropolis every once and a while to update the grid, make sure that you don't do more than you need ;)

Do absolutely everything you need in 2 Player Tag Team (you need 2 Kontrollers with either wires or charge Kables) the other solutions explain how to do some of this with 1 Kontroller, i believe it is in practice :P

Before selecting what character you want to boost make sure you choose the subway map because the fatalities/wins are much easier and faster to do with the area fatality and why not do X-rays on it too :>

X-rays:

Certain characters kan link thier X-ray after a different move (i.e Kung Lao Spin) doing this kan reduce the damage of the X-ray and allow more to be done in the round. The kode you need to input on the kontrollers in the loading screen is 466 466. This will allow infinite super juice and let you spam X-rays for each character. :)

Wins and Fatalities:

Obviously you should be loading up the Subway Map and this time you need to type the code 044 440 to lower both teams health to insta-kill. going for the fatality part of this will inevitably get you the wins aswel (BONUS!) I have few tips on this but one is, allow the FINISH HIM sign to leave the screen before you input the kode, just in case it screws up like it did for me a couple of times. :/
Down here is a list of the characters, their Area Fatality kode (Which are performed right next to the victim for all) and the move to use to knock out both enemy players the fastest as long as you walk to them first (Knocks of seconds every time) ;D

When Playing as:

Baraka
Area Fatality: Down, Down, Down, Down, A
Double Knock Out: Down, Forward, X and RT

Cyrax
Area Fatality: Down, Up, RT
Double Knock Out: X, X, X

Ermac
Area Fatality: Down, up, (One second stall) down, down, A
Double Knock Out: Back X, X, B

Jade
Area Fatality: Back, Forward, Down, RT
Double Knock Out: Forward Y, X, Y

Jax
Area Fatality: Down, Forward, Down, X
Double Knock Out: Y, Forward Y, Back X

Johnny Cage
Area Fatality: Down, Back, Forward, RT
Double Knock Out: Y, X, Forward Y

Kabal
Area Fatality: Down, Down, B
Double Knock Out: X, X, X

Kano:
Area Fatality: Up, Up, Back, A
Double Knock Out: Back X, X, Y

Kitana
Area Fatality: Forward, Down, Down, A
Double Knock Out: Down, Forward, X + RT (wait for the second person to come on before throwing the second Fan)

Kung Lao
Area Fatality: Down, Forward, Down, A
Double Knock Out: Y, X, Y, X

Liu Kang
Area Fatality: Down, Forward, Back, A
Double Knock Out: Couldn't find a good one for this, use his Back, Forward, Y twice :S

Mileena
Area Fatality: Down, Down, Down, X
Double Knock Out: Y, A, B

Nightwolf
Area Fatality: Down, Down, Down, RT
Double Knock Out: X, Y, Y, X

Noob
Area Fatality: Forward, Down, Forward, RT
Double Knock Out: Back X, Y, Forward B

Raiden
Area Fatality: Down, Down, Down, Y
Double Knock Out: Y, Y, Back B

Reptile
Area Fatality: Forward, Down, Down, RT
Double Knock Out: X, Y, Y, X

Scorpion
Area Fatality: Forward, Up, Up, X
Double Knock Out: Forward Y, X, B

Sektor
Area Fatality: Down, Forward, Down, RT
Double Knock Out: X, X, Back X

Shang Tsung
Area Fatality: Up, Up, Back, X
Double Knock Out: Back X, Y, X, B

Sheeva
Area Fatality: Down, Down, Down, Down, X
Double Knock Out: X, Back Y, Forward X

Sindel
Area Fatality: Down, Down, Down, X
Double Knock Out: X, X, Back Y, B

Smoke
Area Fatality: Forward, Up, Up, X

Sonya Blade
Area Fatality: Back, Forward, Down, Y
Double Knock Out: A, X, B

Sub-Zero
Area Fatality: Forward, Down, Back, Y
Double Knock Out: Back X, Y, B

Cyber Sub-Zero
Area Fatality: Down, Down, Up, RT
Double Knock Out: X, X, Forward B

Quan Chi
Area Fatality: Back, Forward, Down, Y
Double Knock Out: Forward, Y, X+Y

Blood Spilled:

Ok, so now you should have Wins, Fatalities and X-rays. Before the time segment you need to make sure you have enough blood spilled. Obviously you should check Nekropolis and update your Grid :3 but if you're like me and had more than enough on most champions at this point anyway you kan move on. BUT if you don't, then no worries, the time you spend spilling blood will go towards the final Segment anyway :D. All you need to do is batter your enemy with X and you will get around 100 pints per round, I have checked around for other posibilities and there are certain moves on characters that spill more blood but they do take longer to perform than X and end up doing more damage so i suggest simply tapping X over and over :*( sounds rough but it wont take you that long. On three rounds per tag game with 2 enemies to kill per round we get 600 pints per game and each game from start to finish taking an average of 5 mins we can see results like this:

Time------------------Pints
5 Minutes----------600
10 Minutes---------1200
20 minutes---------2400
40 Minutes---------4800 Etc.

Devotion:
Finally we have reached the last Segment of this achievement, the part that everyone hates -.- However simple this is, it's annoyingly awkward to pull off. First, change the gameplay settings to 1 round, turn the timer off, go to tag team versus and plug both controllers in. once you have decided which two, thats right TWO characters you want to boost time with, start the match and let it run for however long you need ;) doing two at a time is very efficient and if you leave it on over night every day, you will be done at around 324 hours or around 14 days. Admittedly many people worry about the RED RING OF DEATH but at this point I don't even have an Xbox that is capable of being "red ringed" so if you don't want to do this for that reason, don't.

And that concludes my guide to the ridiculous achievement that is "My Kung Fu is Stronger" I hope this helps, as I have not completed the achievement at this time and im using my own guide to help myself (so meta 0_0). I think I have covered every thing i need too but if i have missed something please don't just leave a negative vote, tell me and I can rectify it :D thanks for reading, good luck. lets get some up votes so that people can see the grid shall we :D

My Kurrent Chracters Mastered : 10/27
Please share your progress below ;)

P.S the "k" use is on purpose. xD

324 hours is actually 13.5 days rather than 27. It'll take 27 days if you are doing each fighter individually rather than tag matches.

Thanks for the grid...I'm at 7/27 right now. Just need to do the 100 wins/fatalities for the remaining (most are in the 20-50 range currently). Definitely one of the bigger grind games out there.

I edited that graph heavily (took out the underscores, the win column seemed redundant with fatalities, resized the columns to look a little sleeker) but thank you for getting me started. It's a great idea, and I didn't think to keep track of it.

Oh I forgot to mention, when I Master something, I replace the stats in that cell with X's. Makes it easier to see whats done at a glance, in my opinion.

Thanks for the guide! I appreciate your hard work and especially liked the part where you took the time to list all of the stage fatalities for each character, making it much more simple for me to do that portion of the progress towards mastering. Different people use different methods to knock out each part bit by bit and that part definitely helps me. Keep up the great work!

This is just a tip for the 10,000 Pints of blood spill, as I am currently working on this achievement to finally 1000 the game. there's already a good strat up top for the fatalitys / xrays, you cant get a better idea than that..

but as for the blood I have worked a few different strats to get the most blood out of each match and the best solution I have came up with is just spamming the X or Y button.

each punch to the face will spill a lot of blood and do minimum damage, so what I do is put it on tag and 3 rounds. and just sit there hitting with x or y ( whichever does the less dmg )

My reasoning for this is simple, when i tried uppercut spamming or special move, i would get aprox 300 pints of blood after the match ended. with the simple hitting in the face i was getting over 500.

Hope this helps anyone that may get a bit frustrated with this aspect as I havent seen any tips on whats the best way to spill blood fast. because if you follow the tips up top to speed through xrays and fatalitys. you will NOT get 10k pints of blood by time you finish the others. ive seen my characters as low as 1500 - 2000 with everything else mastered. ( if theres a better way that I havent found please comment and let everyone know.)

Well, there are certain techniques like Kano's knife throw and Quan Chi's throw/grapple that will spill more blood than your usual x or y attack or uppercut. Just experiment with each character on training mode to see what spills the most blood before going out to do it with them on the arcade ladder or somethin'. That's my philosophy anyway. Still though, those are some good tips you got.

also, do some of the more violent fatalities. no babalities, and certain stage fatalities won't spill any blood (like in hell, for instance).

Fatalities give you 20 pints of blood.

I don't believe fatalitys count towards blood spill, ( I may be wrong but this is why I say this) I always choose Subway stage as the stage fatality is the quickest to end and by doing that one, you smach their face against the moving subway bus, spilling a lot of blood all over. I went to see how much blood spilled and there was none added. ( thats me setting the match to a 1 round win, 1 hit victory so I could count how much blood a punch would give)
So if it does count for certain ones like Quanchi's Leg beatdown for instance thanks for that input, I would not really know the difference as I just use stage fatality for speed.

For the X-rays, instead of doing 2 player versus, do a 2 player tag match. With 3 rounds and 4 X-Rays a round, you get 24 per match. It just saves you the loading time in between the matches and having to input the code again.

Even if you have or are using a charger plugged to your controller to keep your rechargeable battery constantly charged and alive, your controller can in fact still turn off after awhile, which I learned the hard way when I left the game on tag team training mode overnight a couple times one time, as most of the hours I should've gained from leaving the game on that long did not count as far as what the stats showed. To fix this, get a rubber band, and put it around the controller (Zombie Genocidest trick from Left 4 Dead anyone?), and put it around the left thumbstick, so that your character will constantly be moving left or right nonstop, ensuring that your controller will never turn off and that all the hours you left the game on will count for those characters.
This tactic is mostly just a heads up for those who may be lacking a wired controller like myself, and the above method served me pretty well in maxing out the 24-hour contribution for basically all of my characters whom I hadn't already mastered.

Also be sure to download the game to your hard drive so the system will have a less chance of overheating with it and stuff. If it feels very warm when touching the side of the x-box, I would recommend exiting to the main menu, and have the system turned off until it has a good 15 to 20 minutes or so to cool down. Then start it back up again and return to tag team training. If you feel it is necessary to do this, you'll only really need to do it once within the 24 hours of the two characters you're maxing out.

Anyhow, hope that helps for those who might've been having issues with the time milestone earlier...

Well guys this achievement is not very hard at all just time consuming (took me like one month). You can finish the fatalities, x-rays, wins and the blood in like 2 hours with every character (so ca 54 hours with all characters in total). Actually a lot of that can be obtained by going towards the other achievements the game has so try them first. Like mentioned in other guides use combat codes a lot (466-466 and 044-440). Also i would recommend to check the other guides out cause they all offer excellent help for the different requirements and i dont want to repeat the stuff which has been said already. Just one tip for the time requirement: install the game on your hard drive at first. My xbox was running like 20 hours a day with plugged in controller and is still working (the other 4 hours a day were pauses). Try to make a plan when you are outside/working/etc. and turn the console on for those times. Turn it off after longer time periods to minimize the risk of overheating (i never tried out a full day to be serious but i think its better for your consoles as well).

this achievement is very time consuming. if you want to make things go faster i suggest getting the other achievements out of the way first so you can have some stuff done with the characters. once you are done with that, if you have two controllers of any sort pick tag battle and pick the characters you need stuff with and on the loading screen enter the code 466-466. that will enable infinite special meter. doing this you can get your 150 x-rays and your 10,000 pints of blood spilled really fast. you will also get closer to your 100 victories and you can work towards your 100 alities. once you are done with your x-rays and you still need victories do the code 044-440 on the loading screen. you can also finish up your alities this way. now if for whatever reason you dont have the 10,000 pints of blood yet just play any mode with that character that you know you are good with (arcade ladder, challenge tower, online, etc.) then just repeat that for every character. the only thing you should need left is the time and to do this put it on tag practice mode. in some cases you may need to put a rubber band around an anolog stick so the time can count. as long as you pick the 2 characters you need the time will count for both. you will need 24 hours with each.

this way is the fastest but probably the most exhausting/boring. its the fastest because as you work for x-rays you can get some victories, alities, blood spilled, and time done. then with the victories you get the rest of your alities done, blood spilled and some time.

if you do the time first your going to spend longer then 24hrs on everyone which puts even more strain on your xbox and if you do it any other way you will have to actually play longer then you should.

This time consuming achievement requires you to win 100 matches, perform 100 finishing moves, 150 X-Ray moves, spill 10'000 pints of blood, and spend 24 hours with each character. Having two controllers really helps a lot when going for this time consuming achievement. For many players, this might be the very last achievement they'll unlock but for others, there are ways to speed up the process.

VICTORIES: This is earned by winning 100 games, matches, both online and offline. These include ladder mode (10 wins if you beat Shao Khan at the end of the ladder), versus matches involving two controllers, online wins and story mode chapters. I don't know if winning tower mode challenges will count towards this. You will get 100 victories when working on fatalities. You can also speed this up by playing two vs. two versus matches or tag ladder as both characters you selected will earn a victory after each match.

FINISHING MOVES/FATALITIES: For the victories and fatalities, put in the kombat kode 044-440 and have a one vs. one match with each match being one round each. This will reduce both players health to just a tiny sliver and one punch will tell you to 'Finish him/her!'. From there, do whichever fatality, stage fatality, or babality you wish. I found the stage fatality on the Subway level to be the fastest. Because of how long a fatality will take, then the fatality button sequence coming out correctly, and then finally dealing with the game loading up the next match, getting 100 finishing moves will take a very long time to do. For those who find it difficult to stomach some of the fatalities, babalities are an excellent, and hilarious alternative, to the gruesome fatalities. You will earn your 100 victories going for this as well.

X-RAYS: For X-Ray moves, enter a 2-player vs. with Two Vs. Two and then the matches being 3 rounds each. Then enter the 466-466 kode and it will give you infinite meter power. You can perform 18-24 X-Ray moves per match. Rinse and repeat and you'll have at least 150 X-Rays in a relatively short amount of time. I recommend looking away from the TV and listen to some music if you find the bones breaking sound effect too gruesome. Even as an MK veteran who unlocked most other achievements in this game at the time, I still found it difficult to stomach some of of the X-Ray moves.

BLOOD SPILLED: For 10,000 pints of blood, enter the same 2-player match of Two vs. Two and have the match be 3 rounds long. Then enter the 091-091 kode and it will speed up the match and from there, spam either the X or Y button depending on the character you're playing and then rinse and repeat until the 10'000 pints of blood are spilled. You will also make some progress just working on the other states naturally when going for this but entering the 091-091 kode will help A LOT. This can get very tedious but it will go much faster.

DEVOTION: And finally, for the 24 hours, have two controllers, enter a two vs. two match and select two characters and then leave the console on while you go to work/sleep/school/or out. I do not recommend running the console for 24 hours straight due to energy usage and also the risk of burning out the console. Instead I recommend booting up the console in the morning during breakfast, setting up a two vs. two match, and then leaving the game on while you're going about your day. Also, MAKE SURE the time rounds are set to "OFF" so the round does not run out of time. You also MUST finish the match and quit to the main menu. If you just shut off the console without finishing the match, all of that time will have been wasted as it only counts the time if you finish the match. I learned the hard way twice when I accidentally unplugged my console once and later, a power outage caused the time to be wasted. Be careful of this.

Good luck to all who are going for this massive time sink of an achievement.

Ok, presuming you've read everything above. Here's the question you've been asking for with your 24 hour wait using the tag practice/practice method.

"Why didn't the achievement unlock after I got the last fighter mastered?"

Simple answer is, because the game was not designed for you to master it that way. To fix this problem, simply load up a ladder, any ladder and win a single rung with any fighter. Your achievement will unlock. Good luck.

This is regarding x-rays. What many people don't realize or suggest is You can get more x-rays by reducing the damage of it. How do you do that? Simple Have Sub-Zero as your partner and have him use his tag assist attack in which he will do Ice Blast. This move and several others in this game is a move that will cause damage reduction. This has been in all Mk games and this will reduce the damage of any attacks once you do the move. For example. Normally Noob Saibot would do 36 percent damage without damage reduction but with the enemy frozen by Sub-Zero's attack he does 31 percent or less meaning he can get more x-rays in a round of 3 round tag. This works for all characters x-rays so if you wanna grind x-rays further have Sub Zero in and you can get around 21-24 for almost every character.

For devotion time it really helps to have a wired controller and if you have the new slim xbox's I can safely say it won't overheat!

Since everything else has been covered I will say a good way to start would be to do x-rays first with the tip I mentioned you can get 150 x-rays in about 6 matches with your active character. Then go to blood spills. a tip for that I reccomened would be to have the kombat code for hyper fighting enabled (091-091) for both controllers press y 9 times and b once. with that you can use whatever move you find best to spam for blood and a much faster pace.

Wins you get automatically so fatalities will be last. choose pit stage and use stage fatalities or babalities whichever is easier for you. Stage fatalities are faster so stick with that unless you have trouble performing it. Then boost devotion time.

Now I got this achievement in 3 weeks. The bare minimum is 13.5 or 14 days. With planning you can get this less than a month. Just be prepared for a boring grind but overall pretty easy especially if you have a second controller ( strongly advised) Good luck!

This is probably the most difficult, irritating and time consuming trophy on the Vita so far. This requires you to master five statistics for all 32 characters in the game. For one character, you have to achieve:

  • 100 Victories.
  • 100 Fatalities.
  • 150 X-Rays.
  • 10,000 Pints of blood spilled.
  • 24 hours of devotion time.

This means for the trophy, you need to achieve a grand total of:

  • 3200 Victories.
  • 3,200 Fatalities.
  • 48,00 X-Rays.
  • 320,000 Pints of blood spilled.
  • 768 hours of devotion time.

This is indeed daunting and will definitely be the last trophy you will earn. In order to achieve this as quick as possible, I would suggest the following steps:

Step 1: Boosting devotion time at night and during the day

Make the most of the time you are not going to use your Vita which is when you are asleep at night and away at work/school during the day. Make sure to use Tag Practice Mode as you can boost time here for two characters, therefore halving the total required devotion time to 384 hours for all characters.

In order to boost time, ensure that your Vita is plugged with the AC Adapter and have something to press against the left analog stick constantly so that the Vita doesn't go into standby mode. I would recommend pressing the analog stick down so your character stays crouched all of the time and doesn't move.

Important Note: Once you have boosted time, you can check your progress in the Necropolis, however the time boosted is NOT SAVED. So you have to remember to play one match of the Arcade Ladder in order to save your boosted time. You can then quit on the second match. This has to be done EVERYTIME YOU QUIT PRACTICE MODE, or else all of your hard work will be lost in a flash.

Step 2: X-Rays

This involves successfully landing 150 X-Ray attacks with each and every character. This can be done by playing arcade ladders over and over with two or three round matches to get as many as possible. This will take a very long time, as you need to build up the super meter by executing combos, special moves or by taking damage. Also, the chances of the CPU blocking/you missing the X-Ray attack is high, so it's not really worth the time trying to do it alone.

I would suggest using a boosting partner as it can be done much faster than trying to build your super meter playing arcade ladders alone. Use the Trophy Boosting Thread for boosting partners.

Set up Private Versus Tag matches and start with the characters on the top row as its easier to keep track of the completed ones. Choose the Pit Arena every time and use the Versus Kombat Code 466-466 (Question Mark, Skull, Skull - Question Mark, Skull, Skull). Player 1 presses 4 times, 6 times and 6 times. Player 2 does the same. This will give you an Infinite Super Meter.

Just spam X-Rays and you will easily be able to get anywhere from 12 to 16 X-Rays per match depending on the character. You can also perform the Stage Fatality when you win to have those add up as well to the Fatality count. Change characters once you reach the milestone.

Step 3: Victories/Fatalities

This can be done alone by playing one round Arcade Ladder matches, but the issue with that is you cannot choose the Arena you fight on and have to drain the opponent's health bar completely. You also need to resort to the character specific Fatalities which take a longer time for the whole animation to complete.

I would therefore suggest boosting these as well with a friend, as you can use one-hit wins to speed up matches very quickly. Use the Trophy Boosting Thread for boosting partners.

Set up Private Versus 1 v 1 matches and work on one character at a time. Choose the Pit Arena and use the Versus Kombat Code 044-440 (MK Dragon, Question Mark, Question Mark - Question Mark, Question Mark, MK Dragon). Player 1 presses 4 times and 4 times. Player 2 presses 4 times and 4 times. This will put both health bars at danger which enables one-hit wins. Perform the Stage Fatality as it's quicker than the character specific ones.

Change characters once you reach 100 Fatalities, as Victories will naturally add up as well.

Step 4: Blood Spilled

This should be the last thing you work on. Just set three round matches in Arcade and try to use combos that spill lot of blood. You should not have much left to do after completing the 150 X-Rays and 100 Fatalities.

Once you have completed this, wrap up anything that is left using the above methods and you should finally earn this time consuming and irritating trophy.

0
0

For this achievement you mustdo the following with all 27 characters:

  • 100 victories
  • 100 -alities
  • 150 X-Rays landed
  • 10,000 pints of blood spilled
  • 1 Day played as that character

Firstly, save this achievement for last. All the other achievements will contribute to this so don't do extra work.

X-Rays: Do these first. Do a 3 round tag match with kombat kode 466-466 and most characters will get 18 X-rays per match. The characters with the weaker ones will even get 24. And of course, don't forget to do a fatality/babality when the match is over.

Fatalities: Do a one round singles match with kombat kode 044-440 on Subway and do the stage fatality. It's faster than any of the character fatalities and the other stage fatalities as well. The 100 victories will come with this. This too will take a long time.

Blood Spilled: Every character should be at least halfway there by the time you're done X-Rays and fatalities, but most should be near done since you've used them in other game modes. For this head back to 3 round tag matches, but this time use cheat code 091-091 and spam or (for most characters use ). A turbo controller really helps here.

Time: By the time you get here each character should be over an hour at least. The best way to do this is to go into tag team practice and leave your console idling. Make sure that you quit to the main menu when you're done - if you dashboard or power off before doing so all that time will have been wasted.

This is the most time consuming trophy in the game and by-the-way it is the ONLY gold trophy in the game. Like the “My Kung Fu Is Strong” trophy, you need to reach the mastery of ALL 28 fighters! This is the total objectives that you need to complete OVERALL MINIMUM:
- 2,800 wins
- 2,800 -alities (fatalities and/or babalities)
- 4,200 X-Rays moves
- 280,000 liters of blood
- 672 NET HOURS!! of play (like 28 days playing a full 24hrs a day)

There are two tips for making this trophy half way faster and doable in around 350 hours or less:

Tip 1:
- You need ONLY 1 control.
- Go to Training mode and select Tag Practice Mode (2vs2) and pick two desired fighters, both who need the 24 hours of time play.
- Once the "fight" starts just leave the controller plugged into the USB port and turn the TV off for a while (preferable at nights)
- When you check the "fight" just pause it and return to main menu (remember must be on training).
- After this go to Nekropolis and see the stats of both players and you will notice the increase of the time played.

Tip 2: thanks to darkrealm for the tip:

This trick takes two controllers:

Go to Tag versus
Enter versus code 466 ( four times 6 times 6 times) on both controllers
Have rounds set for 3
You will have unlimited super bar so you can constantly do your X-rays. You can get about 24 done per match this way while it also helps with pints of blood spilled. You can master two things at a time while also working on the time milestone this way. It's saving me a bunch of time on this...

Obie83 has made a wonderfull Guide for this trophy, you can Check it HERE.

Well, that means... This trophy is “The Devil Himself!” if on PS3 it was at least somehow possible to pass the time of getting it - forget it! You can’t play 1vs1 (friend with twisted cable + mk = your best friend)

I will describe several methods of obtaining, tedious, but still obtaining...

1) So you need to Completely craft all (YES-ALL) characters (Freddy and his DLC company too) manually... and that means - 100 wins - 100 fatalities - 150 xray - 10,000 (blood) and 24 HOURS of play

The first 4 don’t seem to be that difficult, on the contrary, they’re easier! It’s really sooooo tedious to do this for everyone... We go into the Tag Kombat MK - And in any order, we perform all these parameters in turn for each character... for a long time.. .very...do everything within 24 hours...don’t touch the time yet, it will take you a lot of it anyway...

and now 24 Hours - Find tape (Ribbon, Scrunchy for your sister, mom and grandma, etc.) - go to Tag Practice - to the 2vs2 training - select characters for mastering the time (two of them count at once! Hurray!) as soon as the training starts - glue (put on and hold with a rubber band) any button except for combat ones (triangle, circle, cross and square) - let's say "R" - or you can use L stick in any direction or arrows... The character will either move or stay in the block... time will be counted...

I WILL EXPLAIN WHY YOU NEED TO GLUE EVERYTHING!!! - If you just leave the Vita turned on overnight without taping the buttons, etc... it will simply turn off after 10 minutes maximum (depending on how long the transition to LIVEAREA is set) and go to sleep... this is bad... If you tape the buttons, it won’t switch!.. .we woke up in the morning - left training through the pause mode of the last option "Quit Game or something like that" - went into the necropolis - looked - the score goes to the two Persians who were on the team during training!!!

a great way for those who really need to go for platinum!

PS. - When you leave the Vita overnight, put it on charge! 5-6 hours of maximum work and it’s off if you don’t constantly charge, which is a pity...

2) If you have a friend with MK on Vita, the first 4 points will be oh so much easier to do (with his permission of course)) 100 fatalities, 150 xray and victories with bloodshed too...

So we go into the Ad-hoc Tag mode - 2vs2 --- select and play - as soon as the download starts - enter the code on both yourself and your friend’s Vita - 466 - (4 times a square and 6 times a triangle and a circle) this will be the code for an endless scale - all rounds hit your friend only xray attacks - R+L - As a result, at the end of the battle for two rounds at least 17-xray per character + victory + blood + make fatalities ^^

Very important!!!

After boosting time in practice, you must immediately play Ladder with those characters whose time was boosted, and play at least a full match. Because if you do not do this, your time will not be counted/reset to zero. Do not forget about this point!

in order not to suffer from playing each character for 24 hours, you can attach the button It’s better to do this in training for 2 characters and don’t forget about 150 xrey for 100 victories and 10000l of blood

I’ll add the second tip, to make more X-Ray for Sindel, do it with a combo (BACK- , and immediately X-Ray, then the combo will be 9%.
This will allow you to make up to 10-13 pieces per round!
Ps You can do the same with Kitana while jumping. (I don’t remember how, experiment)

I found a very simple way to get 150 xrey hits. in general, you bet 3 rounds with infinite time
Then go to test your luck, leave everything at default, that is (4 wheels and medium) and wait for endless xrey to appear; you won’t have to wait long; it appears often) then you win the first two rounds with xrey attacks and it will turn out to be 6 xrey attacks, then in the third round you do 2 xrey attacks and let yourself be killed in the next round again 2 xrey attacks and again let yourself be killed and in the last round when you have two wins and two for the enemy, you finish off the enemy with the last 3 xrey attacks and so in total in one match you will get 13 xrey attacks . I knocked out 39 xrey in 10 minutes.

Those who play themselves may have problems with Johnny Cage's x-ray. The easiest way to stuff them is as follows. We get to Shao Kahn and start working on the X-ray scale. We use green balls to keep Shao Kahn at a distance (the main thing is not to kill him ahead of time and leave him enough lives so that he survives our superblow.) When the scale is full, we come close and hit him with an uppercut. While he is flying, we make two dashes in his direction and activate X-ray. 9 out of 10 times Shao Kahn will hit Johnny. Then you need to lose and start the battle again. Repeat the required number of times.

And in general, it’s very convenient to fill X-ray with any fighter specifically on Shao Kahn. We fill the X-ray scale and activate it when Shao Kahn begins to mock us.

1) Win 100 matches. They are very easy to fill, since after receiving all the other trophies (i.e., going through the stairs, the regular and additional towers), each character has more than 20 victories. Just play eight to seven times of the arcade ladder game.

2) Do a fatality 100 times.

Playing offline: play ARCADE LADDER and after each battle press START - MOVE LIST - and scroll down to FINISING MOVES. I also recommend setting 1 round and 30 seconds before the start of the battle. Also perform the bloodiest fatality - less hassle with point 4.

Playing online: Enter the Sans Power code ( 044 - 440) and hit the enemy once. After this, perform a fatality - it will take you 10 seconds.

3) Perform 150 X-Ray attacks.

Playing offline: Set to 3 rounds and infinite battle time. Select TAG TEAM LADDER and select Cyrax and the character who needs to do X-Ray. Select the difficulty level BEGINNER . Now hit the enemy first (+30% scale) and then perform the combination DOWN, BACK, . Each movement gives approximately 2% of the scale. When you press quickly, the scale will fill in 20 - 40 seconds, then change your character and feel free to perform X-Ray. However, there is ONE BUT: Johnny Cage. His X-Ray is specific, so we do everything the same, but before starting the stairs, select the difficulty level EXTREME . When the X-RAY gauge is full, press X several times to make Johnny kick. As soon as your blow is blocked, press + . 80% of the time, after blocking a kick, the enemy will hit you and you will perform an X-Ray. Only 20% will he make a move or something like that. I would also like to note that if you lose a battle, X-Ray attacks still count.

Playing online: Enter the Unlimited Super Meter code ( QUESTION MARK, SKULL, SKULL - QUESTION MARK, SKULL, SKULL or, more simply, 466 - 466 ). Now, with the permission of the owner of the other console, you perform only X-Ray attacks. In one match there are approximately 10 - 15 attacks.

4) Spill 10,000 pints of blood. You'll get even more when you finish the first three points.

5) Spend 24 hours in the game. The most difficult condition. Select TRAINING - TAG TEAM PRACTICE and two required fighters. Secure the button with a regular money rubber band to prevent the console from turning off. Set the limit yourself. Personally, I recommend 12 to 12: you level up fighters 12 hours a day - and for the next 12 hours you don’t use the console - let it catch its breath. Also remember: DO NOT go to Necropolis after leveling up, but play in ARCADE LADDER with one of the two leveled up fighters and win one match. Having reached the second one, you can safely go out and check the time in Necropolis.

X-Ray attacks can still be obtained offline in the Test your luck mode. You set up 3 rounds and if luck smiles, you can get an infinite charge and carry out 9-12 attacks per match.

I found an easy and quick way to fill up X-Ray, go to CHALLENGE TOWER and go to the very top in the last test, you can select any fighter, select our fighter and enter into battle with GORO, at the beginning of the battle we immediately strike the first blow and wait until the X-Ray scale is full, as soon as it is full scale, do X-Ray and boldly press START RETRY, repeat the same steps, strike the first blow and wait. You don’t have to worry about whether it will be counted or not. After that, we go to ARCADE LADDER, select the same fighter and win one round to save our X-Rays. go to extracropolis and look at the statistics

This way you can make 2-3 xrays per minute

Fatality was done in ARCADE LADDER difficulty level BEGINNER, do 5 fatalities and go out starting over (then it’s difficult and it will take a lot of time) for 5 fatalities it will take you about 3 minutes maximum
