Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition

I only bought the Clockwork Lute from Hadern (he'll be found in Fallgrim Tower next to your wall of weapons). You'll need to beat him in order to access his shell (needed for another achievement) and he'll be available to you as a merchant.

Keep in mind, you access him from the base game and NOT in the Virtuous Cycle (going into the reverie).

Farm 5,000 tar and buy the Clockwork Lute from him. No need to farm the 75,000 tar needed for this.

If you maxed out the achievements from the base game, you should already have the Simple and Impervious Lute in your inventory maxed out and will only need to purchase the Clockwork Lute.

- Simple Lute (base game) - You can find this in the first enemy campsite after acquiring your Harros shell or buy from Vlas for 600 tar (merchant on top of Fallgrim Tower). Please don't waste time spending 25,000 tar on this in the DLC.

-Impervious Lute (base game) - You can find this in the large brigand circular camp where you needed the baguette from the base game to get the achievement for maxing familiarity with all in-game items.

To get there, start from Sester Genessa's door at Fallgrim Tower, go out and take a right past the brigand playing the lute and the traps. Follow the water till you see two large trees in the distance (this leads back to the Harros shell and where the campsite is for the Simple Lute). Once you reach the two green trees, turn left and you'll see a stream lead downhill. Take a left at the fork and an immediate right up a small stone staircase to an enemy camp. Straight ahead past that camp is where the enemy brigand playing the Impervious Lute will be with a big group of enemies. Kill him to get the lute.

Again, please don't farm 50,000 tar for this one.
