I was struggling a little bit with this one until I worked out the best attributes for your bike/rider. You want to bias cornering and your top speed. Acceleration I had maybe 5/10 point in. Brakes I had 20 odd and then top speed and corning equal at around 70-80 each. These numbers are at finishing rookie, pro and champion modes.

This made winning actually pretty do-able even starting from back of the grid and laps set to 1.
