What a PITA this game is untill you get the hang of it...
best one for this... philip island! the first corner is great, just go past on the inside and turn, dont fully brake as you will fall, for some reason you can trick this game by pressing both back and front brake frantically fast so do this round the first bend, coming into turn 2 is even easier just coast round in 3rd gear you should come out in anything from 1st to 5th position...
and the small turn immediately after can be done in 6th gear near top speed, you need danni pedrosa for this really as he slides less.
as soon as you straighten up from turn 3 brake REALLY hard and get into 2nd gear ASAP as turn 4 is super tight... after turn 4 is a nice little lefty then another full speed right hander (again pedrosa is the only one who does this well)
Turn 6... again coast round in 3rd gear, if you need correction just tap the brakes on and off REALLY fast! then the worst turn(s) are the last lot, 7 in 2nd gear and 50% throttle coming out of there as you dont want to wheelie then turn 8 into 9 is 3rd gear coasting into 5th gear nice and easy!
Hope this helps, normaly i can get into 1st after the first few corner, you will need this as the last 3 corners you can do nothing but make sure you sit on the racing line as to not let people through, oh and DONT be the Ducati... its shocking at this track! yam M1 or the honda!
