Ok so you must have 100 butter in your inventory. Sounds fairly easy right? The problem is finding it and your men eating it in between settlements.
I suggest waiting until you have a decent chunk of money spare as this will cost a couple of thousand denars.
The best places I found to buy butter were the settlements in the desert (yellow faction)
At Askar alone I bought 60 which netted me the achievement after visiting every settlement on the way and buying up all their butter stores.
Once you have the required amount, unpause and travel for a bit and it will unlock.
