Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

This can be boosted with 2 players or done in singleplayer. We found it to be easiest in the "Team Deathmatch" multiplayer game mode using an empty server from the "custom server list" menu.

To do a combo you need to follow up an attack with a second attack from a different direction. There are many options, but we found the easiest was to use a basic unit and do an overhead attack followed by a swing attack from your left. The animation shows the weapon swung around you head in 3rd person. This animation is also slow giving you plenty of time to set up for a kill. It also has a large arcing hitbox on your right side which is what you'll use to get your kills.

What we did was get the feeder player down to around 30% health by doing basic attacks while standing still (no movement bonus). Then move out of attack range and start trying to do the combo. Turn to your left 90 degrees so you are facing perpendicular to your target. You don't need the first hit to land for the combo to "work". You just need the right timing. We found that it was about when your sword/axe is pointing straight up. Just watch for the around-the-head animation to start and when it does strafe right towards your target. The end of this attack animation has huge reach on your right side and should be easy to connect. This makes it easy to avoid killing accidentally with a normal attack, but still relatively easy to get the kill when you land the combo input. Simply don't strafe right into range if you don't see the around-the-head animation start.
