Like start a new game or delete all my progress? Stuck at 99% as well.

The tracker for this achievement is definitely off, but this is a good solution. I started a new game after the achievement glitches on me. I rushed through the minimum amount of missions to unlock Shredding Season, and still had to repeat the level 90 times before the achievement unlocked.

Glitched on me at 99%. I tried Shredding Season and Deserted Depot for about an hour and well over 1000 deliveries on top of my normal playthrough, but nothing. Guess I'll start another save file...

Damn i'm stuck at 99% as well...tried to play many other levels (not only memory levels) but nothing happened. The game is fun and pretty fast once you know what to do, but i don't wanna farm again hundreds of deliveries. If someone managed to get it to work, please post how you did it

Yeah I've heard from a handful of people of it glitching, always at 99%. I don't know whats causing it. Does suck to start a new save but at least that seems to be working.

it's unfortunate there isn't a tracker in the game for this as well to know for sure. I've been playing the mission a while on the second save since I couldn't get it on my original save file. I'm hoping it isn't glitched on this one as well.

@MuscularTea I'm doing the same. Got 19 gold medals just to unlock the level and now i'm just playing it over and over. Do you know how many times you've already played it?

I've honestly lost track, I'm going to do a few more and then just give up. I'm going to assume it's glitched again.

This achievement is not only buggy, but also not specific. If you calculate while doing "Shredding Season", you should really only need about 24 runs to complete the achievement assuming each box and couch and tape recorder count. However, it seems that for this achievement each item type is counted individually. Meaning, you get a percentage for one couch, one box and one tape recorder each time you do it. This being said, it should be specified in the achievements description.

To everyone with any glitched achievement: the developer replied to me saying that achievements issues are a known problem. They invited me to open a support ticket with Team17 so they can address the problem and fix it.

Just to confirm it also glitched for me and a second run hasn't worked! I've meticulously counted the delivery amounts and have played Shredding Season extra times to be sure and no achievement! So annoying!

I wonder if Shredding Season is the problem...

EDIT: Just uninstalled the game and installed back and it solved the glitch. thank god

Mine glitched also, I raised a ticket with Team17 and they aknowledged there is a problem with this achievement and are working on a fix.

Just unlocked this on Win10 using shredded season and it goes up 4% each time you finish the level

A week is already gone and no patch was seen (they claimed it was ready and just needed to be approved from xbox).

Developers told me to do missions offline and then sign in to re sync and it should unlock.... doesn’t work ffs

@IINUMB3R44 That means you own the game. Because you can't do it offline if you are playing through Game Pass

It appears several people got this today but my husband and myself are both stuck at 99% still and played the Shredding Season a dozen times on a second play through and still no unlock.

The fix has been out yet or not ? I cant find the news about it

To me 125 and 1337. - run over 125 cars was release after continuing the game with 2 players on same controller in river toad level. 1337 Im trying...

This really p*sses me off

I finished the game at 97%. I completed 4 runs of the Shredding level and the cheev popped. After each run i went back to the map instead of hitting replay. Not sure if that is the difference maker or if its simply been patched. Got it though.

Tried it 5 times, nada. Also tried Sealed Storehouse with its 52 items, still nothing. Guess I'm waiting on the patch.

I also tried different combinations of levels and nothing. Waiting for the patch.....

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Didn't work for me. Drat.

I think neither of us will get this achievement until our death is happening its been 2 month and nothing its infuriating

Hmm game just got an update today. I tried a few levels but the achievement still didn’t unlock. Anyone else suggestions ? I’m gonna uninstall and install again.

I've joined the club too, stuck on 99%. I tried a delete and reinstall but to no avail. Last achievement i need, hopefully a fix soon.

I'll join the stuck at 99% club too. Just to pass on what I did:

Deleted and reinstalled the game.
Created a new save.
Didn't enable assists.
Played until the Deserted Depot level.
Cleared this 26 times (52 objects).

It still didn't unlock. Here's hoping for a fix...

The achievement has been patched now got it when i loaded up the game

Very random for me, in desperation I started a new game and it unlocked after completing the 7th level.

I updated the game today and I got the achievement right after launching the game. Finally...

Still nothing for me. I'll try tomorrow to start a 4th playthrough.

I deleted game and reinstalled it then started new game in slot 2. Slot 1 still had old game saved there.

UPDATE
Started another playthrough (just picked new game on a different slot) and once Lennys Mansion was completed, the achievement popped.

Looks like there is a patch or hotfix as has 99% issue and loaded game up this morning at it popped

Yes after the update I started the game today it popped directly!

Just farming this achievement now and I’ve noticed that cardboard boxes aren’t counted at all, the tracker should be going up 10% every 3 playthroughs of shredding season but instead it only goes up 1% every 3. Only the 5 items that aren’t boxes are being counted.

I found the first level ‘Hollys home’ to be faster, it has 13 non box items and can be done in less then 2 mins, averaging about 7 items a min, while shedding season averages 5 a min.

Had to do a new playthrough till deserted depot and many farms then for deleting my save prior to the update but finally it popped! Just don't mess up your next game, Team 17 !!

I loaded the game up today - it unlocked before getting to the title screen. It may be patched so check and see

Game was patched and a bit of extra stuff was added to the game. The 99% issue was also fixed, got the achievement after logging in to the game.

Shredding Season doesn't seem to increase the counter by more than 1% if any at all. I wonder if since you are shredding and not delivering that it his was changed in the latest update. I've been grinding The Luggage Rescue of '84 in the VHS Superstore instead.

Shreading Season do increase it more than once, but you cant Rewind at the end. Once u finish u must press A to return to level select and select start it again.

Started a new save and I still can’t get it to pop

I just got mine to pop. After finishing the dlc I still wasn't done with the achievement so i did a few runs of the memory, then got stuck at 99%. I force closed the game reopened it then did a REGULAR DLC level (Temple of the Wind as its short) and it popped at the end. I put the vhs and the fan before my 6 item for good measure.

Mine was also stuck at 99% but after replaying the DLC Level that JaKoB MP 40 mentioned, it popped on the results screen!

Because it was driving me nuts. If you are getting 1% or less per run on shredding season. The reason why is because it only counts the boxes you have physically picked up, if you just push them onto the conveyor belt it won't count towards the achievement.

I ended up knocking the boxes away from the conveyor belt then placing them on it 1 by 1.

Counted for me knocking them over into the belt, what made me get pass the 1% missing was quitting the game and doing over one session of shredding season again.

^Shishou Ling's^ solution worked for me as well.

For me I had to also lift up each box, knocking them into the belt gained me no progress. Definitely buggy, at least in terms of what counts as a "delivery".

I used Shredding Season. But you have to pick the items up and throw it at conveyor belts. This way I gained 4% every playthrough. And I went back to the VHS menu and selected the level again. Took me from 78% to 100% around 25 minutes.

Shredding Season is not the problem. Mine glitched at 99% while only doing that stage once for the entire game.

I've played a second playthrough, first playthrough was 92% after I completed everything In the game. I'm half way through and stuck on 99% not sure if I should just give up on this now

Stuck at 99% too. Can't believe it's my last achievement to get. I wouldn't do a 2nd run because there is no guarantee that it will unlock. Anyone got it with a 2nd run?

Also with issues with this achievment stuck at 99% opened a ticket with Team 17 support and they informed that are aware of the issue and working on a fix.

I worked for a while in gaming support and advise that everyone afected by this issue to open a support ticket as the norm is the more players complain the faster things get resolved.

UPDATE: Official twitter team replied to me and said an update along with other game fixes and changes is for sure coming and it’ll fix the achievement.

okay i got it to pop doing deserted depot only, inching forward at about 1.5% per run, average time being around 2:45. Shredded didnt do squat, was only getting 1 percent every 5 or so runs. It appears item type matters, because it was only counting about half of the deliveries, otherwise i would have been getting around 4%.

It will probably take a few weeks, folks, if it in fact is patched at all. Xbox certification isn't instantaneous. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, but it's probably a good idea to see if you need to update the game before popping in to see if it's patched yet.

This isn't a server side game. No update, no patch.

The last few achievements started glitching on me including this one. As someone above mentioned, if you do somehow get this achievement to 99%, try uninstalling and reinstalling and completing 1 more mission.

A little story to go with the broken achievement trackers and maybe it'll help someone keep their sanity:

So the tracker stopped tracking properly but I noticed a couple of achievements still managed to unlock (pop up on screen) but was still <100% on tracker window and in the achievement list ("Look left, then right" was showing up ~70% but the pop up had appeared). Instead, I checked "See all my achievements" and checked the list there and found that it was in fact unlocked. Moving on to this achievement, "Quantity over quality", I was farming "Shredding Season" as OP recommended. Doing the math, 90% should've only required 2-3 more runs to complete. Instead, the tracker had not tracked anything for 3 runs but I checked the manual list and saw it moved to 93%. Upon returning to the game, the tracker itself had updated to 93% to match. At this point, it seemed like each run of 56 items only brought the achievement up 1%. Whatever, as long as it kept going up. At 99%, it just broke and would not move even on that separate list. Ran a few more runs just in case and then uninstalled --> reinstalled --> completed Holly's Home --> bleep bloop. Never been quicker to uninstall a game out of spite.

ive been doing deserted depot, what phillipwendell above me said is probably true. i had the tracker on screen and shredded was only counting the non-box items, and only after the level was completed. Deserted depot is going up 1.5% per run, consistently. I only got to do it 8 more times and im done.
