How to unlock the Pilot achievement in Mr. Pumpkin Adventure - Definitive Guide

This one is missable.

Take note of the symbols on the Metro at the beginning of chapter 6. It's an S in a shield, a face and socks pointing left, but they look a certain way.

Go right and grab the wings. Solve the light puzzle above the door, but do not enter the door. The solution is:
Red/Off
Green/Off
Off/Red

Go back to the ladder. Give them to the Unicorn, and it becomes a pegasus and flies away. There's a puzzle behind. The solution is (left to right):
Blue 3, Red 1, Red 2, Blue 3, Blue 2...
Blue 1, Red 1, Red 2, Red 3, Blue 3...
Blue 2, Blue 1, Red 2, Red 3, Blue 1.

A second ladder goes up. You'll see a balloon flier at the bottom of the screen, but only if you solved the light puzzle first. Take it and go up the second ladder.

Put the flier into the machine at the top, and a balloon will fly to the top, where there is a plane. Make sure you have the same symbols, then click the right arrow.

You need to do this (and other things) to get to the hidden level and earn this:

Thanks for the detailed solution. I missed this on my playthrough, but saved the level at the end before walking through the final door. All I needed to do was reload my save pick up the balloon flier and follow your guide. So not missable if you save progress each level.

This didn't pop for me the first time. When I reloaded and flew right to finish the game a second time, it popped for me at the main menu

When you complete the Airplane Puzzle, this trophy will pop. This will be one of the 3 endings. Going through the door with the Lab Light Puzzle takes you to Chapter 7. See below for the puzzle solutions.

Mancala Type Puzzle: There are 7 slots from left to right. I will call them #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7. I will say which ones to click in a specific order.
#3, #5, #6, #4, #2, #1, #3, #5, #7, #6, #4, #2, #3, #5, #4

To unlock this achievement, you have to beat the game in chapter 6. Make sure you make a manual save before doing so. You beat the game here by using the wings on the ground floor on the horse to make it fly away. Take the balloon poster and solve the panel puzzle to go up another level. Use the balloon poster on the digital panel and take the balloon up to find Mr Pumpkin in an airplane. Solve the puzzle in front of him and then click the yellow arrow to take off and beat the game.
