Some general tips:
- You won't be able to collect all of the 26 ghosts as you play through the levels. Some of them require you to have unlocked different animal transformations first (eagle, bear, leopard and snake), so you will need to travel back later in the game.
- At most, each level will have either 3 or 4 ghosts scattered around (apart from Bakówala, which only has 2).
- Each map on the main menu, apart from Re'le Na'lrale (which you enter via a portal after defeating Ganó in Bakówala), will show you how many ghosts you have collected which makes collecting them very easy. All of them on Re'le Na'lrale are located at points before the final boss.
- The worlds are not that big, so it is very easy to collect the ghosts that you have skipped later on since you will learn the pathways and landmarks (especially when you follow this video).
- Make sure that you collect all of them before you fight the final boss on Re'le Na'lrale. You can still fast travel between the worlds even before you fight the final boss.

First Bakówala in video (with 3 ghosts) it's Basacheechi

For reference your achievement tracker should be at 88% before the final area, Re’le Na’irale. I was worried as the guide I followed says the achievement should pop after the 2 spirits in Bakowala, there are 3 on the linear path in Re’le Na’irale just keep hitting RB occasionally to check where they are.

There are a total of 26 ghosts located in this game. There are ghosts located in each of the 8 different levels of the game. Only 7 locations show up on the map and they all show how many ghosts are located within them. The 8th location is located in the final area of the game after you have hoped into the portal to the underworld. There are 3 ghosts located in this part that you may be unware of and they are all located in the beginning of this level before you fight the first boss in this area so make sure that you have the trophy before you step into the big empty circle which will initiate the boss fight.
Also in order to get a lot of these ghosts you will need to have unlocked all of the transformations in order to access them.
Samalayuca – 4 ghosts
Paquime – 4 ghosts
Resu Rekubi – 3 ghosts
Basacheechi- 3 ghosts
Arareku – 3 ghosts
Bauwala – 2 ghosts
Hueraach – 4 ghosts
Also in order to get a lot of these ghosts you will need to have unlocked all of the transformations in order to access them.
