There are four potions in the game that you have to use 20 times each:
Healing Potion - heals Mulaka.
You learn to make this potion early on the first area, Samalayuca. It requires four Aloe to create one potion and you can have a maximum of ten at any given time. You have to press
to use this potion.
Bomb Potion - mostly used to destroy walls but can be used against enemies.
You learn to make this potion during the second area, Paquimé. It requires four Chia to create one potion and you can have a maximum of ten at any given time. You have to press
to use this potion.
Shield Potion - protects Mulaka from damage for a brief period of time.
You learn to make this potion during the fourth area, Arareko. It requires four Laurel to create one potion and you can have a maximum of ten at any given time. You have to press
to use this potion.
Rage Potion - increases Mulaka's attack speed and damage for a brief period of time.
You learn to make this potion early on the fifth area, Hueráach. It requires four Corn to create one potion and you can have a maximum of ten at any given time. You have to press
to use this potion.
If you don't have the achievement by the end of the game or if you want to get it out of the way you can fill up on potions, use them all, craft some more and use them until you get it. You can use the health potion even if you have full health.

You will not have all of the different potions when the game starts. You will gradually unlock them as you make your way through the game. There is a total of 4 different potions that you will unlock in this game and you will need to use all 4 of them 20 times. In order to craft a potion, you will need to grab 4 of the ingredient that it requires in order to make 1 potion. The potions, ingredients and the locations where you will unlock them are listed below:
- Spirit Potion – Unlocked in the Samalayuka. Requires Aloe
- Bomb Potion – Unlocked in the Paquime. Requires Chia
- Shield Potion – Unlocked in the Arareko. Requires Laurel
- Rage Potion – Unlocked in the Hueraach. Requires Corn
