How to unlock the Distanced Damage Dealer achievement in MultiVersus - Definitive Guide
Obviously boosting is easiest but here's a method for people like me who play solo.
HOW IT WORKS
Superman's "Go Long!" currently counts as a projectile. Get your opponent down a bit, knock them in the air and jump after them and then keep spamming Up + Y. Superman will dash into the air tossing your opponent up with him. Keep doing this and you will get a ring out at the top which counts as a projectile for some reason. (You turn your opponent into the projectile?)
Big thanks to Crazy Dutchman for making a video to better show the process. He managed to also get Double ring outs using this method so check out his guide for that here.
SETUP
I recommend 1 vs 1 against a Very Easy Finn bot with 4 ring outs. Accept the rematch and that's 8 easy projectile wins.
Because Finn is a lighter character it's easier to knock him up without having to weaken too much. You might also get this along the way:
I like Scooby's Haunted Mansion because the lower ceiling makes this much easier.

This works like a charm, and if you're fast enough, you'll also progress the "Double Ringouts".
It seems those achievements are just based on the time between two (or more) Ringouts.
Your method (Superman && The Haunted House arena) can be done so fast, that it progresses those achievements.
-- Edit: Here's a quick video of your solution, done with a 2nd Xbox:

You might want to use a weaker opponent, like Finn. I didn't need to weaken him at all.
-- Edit: I made a guide for a different Achievement, because of this guide:

Great tip using Finn. I was easily able to finish off
while doing so.
Will add and credit your video link in the OP if that's ok.
