How to unlock the Amnesia achievement in Murdered: Soul Suspect - Definitive Guide

Amnesia - Julie Side Mission

One of the many side missions you can play in Salem. You will come across Julie on the beach and once you talk to her this question will be asked.

EDIT: Julie is on the beach on the way to the Church.

How did the lady on the beach die?

So you will have to search on the beach for these 5 clues. All 5 clues are in the area with Julie. You will have to reveal (RT) then inspect (X) the clues.

Various Candles (behind Julie)
Bouquet of Flowers (behind Julie in front of the rowboat)
Beachside Memorial (behind rowboat)
Newspaper Obituary (in front of Julie)
Framed Picture (to the left of Julie leaning on the picnic table)

When you find all 5 clues you are now ready to complete your investigation, answer the question and Help Julie find peace. You do not have to put these in any particular order and the side mission is complete.

Bouquet of Flowers
Newspaper Obituary
Framed Picture

If any question or reason for negative feedback please comment to make the solution better.

I'm not sure it's been so long since I played this game. Try leaving the area to see if she pops up again. If she doesn't you might have to do it again.

Also check you achievements to see if it's stuck at 100%

This one is really glitchy still. I completed her investigation as soon as I first got to the beach and no achievement unlocked. I didn’t realise there was an achievement related to her so I didn’t try relaoding a checkpoint or anything. I finished the church segment, came back and she’s back crying on the beach again but when I try talking to her all that happens is Ronan snaps into position for her dialogue but no dialogue happens. Guess I’m gonna have to do a second playthrough for this one

Also had this same problem where I would complete the side mission but still no trophy. Anyways I tried another playthrough where once I was able to go to the church the first time the same problem accord. I again reset and went to the church first and complete what had to be done there and tried the mission again and this time it pop, cheers

Did the achievement glitch on anyone else? I saved her, but no achievement. On app it says 87%, on here its 100% and she's back but not interactable in game :(

I noticed my problem with this achievement, on the way to the church for the second time I activated the mission without solving the case and went into the church using Maka91's guide for all collectibles and made a bunch of auto saves. So I'm guessing if you enter the church while having the case active and not completing it causes a glitch within autosaves. It's definitely looking like I have to replay the entire game again up until this point, as I have left the area multiple times and reloaded the last checkpoint multiple times.

I've done this twice now and the achievement isn't popping. No done unlocking, just sitting at 0%. Kinda frustrating, hopefully it will catch up at some point? Thanks for the guide though.

This achievement is unlocked on your way to the Church. This is a short side investigation unrelated to the main story where you help someone find peace and pass on to the afterlife. To initiate it, find and talk to a girl named Julie who is crying on the beach just outside the Church. She will reveal that she has no clue how she got to where she is or even that she is dead. You need to search the immediate area for clues and piece together how and why she died.

  1. Newspaper Obituary (next to some tall weeds)
  2. Framed Picture (next to the picnic table)
  3. Various Candles (between the weeds and the table)
  4. Bouquet of Flowers (just outside the rowboat)
  5. Beachside Memorial (in front of the crosses)

When you’ve found all the clues, piece them together to find out how Julie died (‘Beachside Memorial’, ‘Newspaper Obituary’ and ‘Bouquet of Flowers’). When you’ve found out, go back and talk to Julie again, listen to her and the achievement will unlock.

Julie is located near the Church, you need to help her figure out how she died.

Note: I did not make the video. Credit goes to the YouTube channel.

This trophy is titled "Amnesia" and it requires you to help a ghost woman named Julie who is upset and standing on the beach.

After Ronan exits the apartment and begins heading to the church, walk forward into the street and make a right toward the wall. Turn right and walk through the dumpster and fence. Walk around the ghost boat, around the back to its opposite side, to find a path down to the beach.

Walk onto the beach to find a woman crying. Speak with her and she'll let Ronan know she can't remember why she's there, but she remembers the name Monoansett.

After Ronan offers his help, turn around and reveal the Newspaper in the patch of grass. To the right of the grass are some Candles in the sand to be revealed. Walk forward to the rowboat to reveal a Bouquet of flowers. Next, walk just passed the rowboat to reveal a Memorial on the beach. Finally, walk to the picnic table by the candles to reveal a Framed Picture.

With all the clues, press the Triangle Button to find the answer to Julie's amnesia. Select Newspaper Obituary, Bouquet of Flowers, and Framed Picture to unveil what happened to her. Speak with Julie to give her peace and unlock the trophy.

An additional quest, taken on the way to the church, on the beach near the harbor. Once completed, the trophy is yours.

To get this achievement you need to help the ghost remember how she died.

Halfway to the church you will see a crying girl who does not know how she got here or what happened. We find the following items: a framed memorial, a framed photo, various candles, an obituary in the newspaper, Monohansett (a diary will be added automatically), a bouquet of flowers. We put the obituary + framed photo + bouquet of flowers into a single piece of evidence and get a solution, and together with it an achievement.

All the evidence is right next to the girl. Embody, study and help the heroic girl remember the past.
