How to unlock the Collector All achievement in Murdered: Soul Suspect - Definitive Guide
The collectibles are cumulative, so if you restart the game, you will only have to pick up whichever collectibles you've missed.
Feel free to find a full video guide with additional information HERE.
You can additionally find Digital Strategy maps HERE, but some collectibles are shown in the wrong spot, and the maps can be extremely vague.
You can use the following video to start the collectibles video guide:
I was going to upload screenshots of the Digital Strategy Map but someone over at Xboxachievements.com has beat me to the punch. So all credit goes to xxJustinxx who posted it there.

I also wanted say that not all of the collectables are not in the place they are shown so I will point out those I noticed.
Baptism Ghost Graffiti - It is shown in the Church map but it is located in the Mental Hospital when looking for Iris. Its in the laundry room near Iris's room above some washers.
Pillary Ghost Graffiti - It is not on any map but it is to left when leaving the Mental Hosipital. It is located in the area after the Theater. You turn left and its near the windows.
Buring Ghost Graffiti - It is shown on the map near 'In Her Hands' and Katy Side mission but it is actually across the field to left when looking at 'In Her Hands'. It is near a picnic bench on the wall.
EDIT: As other gamers have stated you can pick up collectables you have missed on multiple playthroughs.
EDIT 2: Some achievements are not popping when going for all collectables.
If any question or reason for negative feedback please comment to make the solution better.
But it triggered the ending and i couldn't get around it. I heard you can start a new game and just grab those missing pieces...well it didnt work.
I hit "new game" and the question was incredibly confusing. Either answer could have been wrong with their wording.
"Do you want to overwrite the save"?
I searched google for 30 mins and couldn't find a proper answer about this new game.
I hit no. It seemed like yes meant to overwrite and completely erase my first game.
Im now registered and will never do such a thing without asking.
To clarify, clicking no, resets your game to brand new, and grabbing last cpl codex doesnt give you the achievements.
Its truly a great great great game gone terribly wrong because of no map, minimap, waypoints, multi save points or the ability to just wander after game over to collect trophies like hundreds of other games. But I still recommend it. Its a great investigative, dark, supernatural thriller. Pretty good gameplay, GFX, dialogue, and story.

Note: The Digital Strategy Maps that were given out if you pre-ordered the game are inaccurate. They often list collectibles in the wrong location and sometimes don’t list them at all. For your own sake, do not follow those maps.
This game has 242 items to collect throughout 8 locations with a total of 25 achievements for 445 related to the collectibles. They give backstories to the locations and characters who lived in the area in another time.
- Apartments: 14 collectibles
- Church: 20 collectibles
- Salem Police Department (Police Station): 37 collectibles
- Ashland Hills Cemetery: 28 collectibles
- Lux Aeterna Psychiatric Hospital: 25 collectibles
- Salem History Museum: 31 collectibles
- Church (Upstairs): 2 collectibles
- Town of Salem: 61 collectibles
- Judgment House: 24 collectibles
Most of the collectibles in the game give off a yellow glow, so they aren’t too difficult to locate. You only need to walk up to it and press to collect it. For others, you only see fragment and must use Reveal (press ) to see it completely then collect it (press ). Then there are 23 Ghost Girl’s Messages which are writings on walls that shimmer lightly are only completely visible when you use Reveal.
The game saves your collectible progress immediately so you don’t have to worry about dying, restarting a checkpoint or your power going out. To check your progress, press .
It would be wise to collect everything in the location you are playing before solving the case and moving on to the next one to eliminate backtracking and extra play time. This is particularly true of the Museum as the area is locked off completely once you enter Judgment House, so make sure you get everything in the Museum before leaving. Since you return to the Salem streets when you complete Judgment House, you can enter all other locations except for the Museum. You will NOT be able to go back to the Museum and will have to start a new game if you miss any.
Before you enter Judgment House, your stats should read:
- 14/14 of Ghost Abilities
- 7/7 of My Life
- 35/39 of Info About My Killer
- 34/38 of Julia's Thoughts
- 2/2 of Rex's Thoughts
- 2/2 of Truth About Baxter
- 5/6 of Profiler's Memories
- 23/23 of Ghost Girl's Messages
- 7/8 of Ghost Stories
- 7/7 of “A Watery Grave” (Apartments)
- 11/11 of “The Bell Tower Banshee” (Church)
- 8/8 of “The Stalwart Spectre” (Police Station)
- 13/13 of “The Heirloom” (Cemetery)
- 10/10 of “Man In The Box” (Hospital)
- 15/15 of “Terror on the Tracks” (Museum)
- 16/16 of “Eternal Flame” (Salem)
- 0/0 of “Ashes to Ashes” (Judgment House)
- 22/25 of Salem's History
- 8/9 of Witch Trials History
Note: While the tracking of collectibles is reset if you start a new game, the save file still keeps your progress of what collectibles you’ve obtained and your achievements are still tracked. So, if you missed any, start a new game and progress to where the collectibles are, collect them, and if you’ve met the requirements, the achievement should unlock. But, you must have knowledge of which collectible you missed the first time; collecting any collectible in that set will not unlock the achievement. It may be difficult to remember which collectible you missed which is why it is recommended that you collect everything in a location before moving on.
Refer to Maka’s Collectible Guide thread for video guides showing the locations of all the collectibles.

This happen to me on this achievement, Ashes to Ashes and terror on the track. Grabbing one random collectible caused this achievement to pop. AtA and ToTT unlocked when I grabbed one of their mission specific collectibles.

If not, then under no circumstances should you go to the “Museum” . There will be no opportunity to collect more!
After completing the game, there will be an option to continue in the menu, but there is no exit from the “Museum” location!
There is one more place in the game where you will not return - the Attic of the church, collect artifacts there on your first visit.
