After you win the MX2 championship, you can choose MXGP for your 2nd season.
You don't need to run all the races, just finish 1st overall at the end of the championship.
My experience is that once you reach 650 points you are guaranteed to finish first at the end. So assuming you win every race, you can start retiring from each race after Event no. 11 . In any case you should be at least 50 points ahead of second place before you start the last Event. So keep an eye on the rider below you in the table as you skip races in case you might need to win one or two more races. The achievement pops at the end of the season after the last race.
