This trophy is cumulative and can be done over multiple plays.

Before you go ghost hunting, you first need to get your ghost trap, which is located on the roof of the house at a blood waterfall fountain (there will be a sign next to it as well with a picture of the ghost trapper). The ghost trap itself a ghost that is carrying a trap with him and he will follow you around the house until you find an enemy ghost.

Enemy ghosts appear randomly around the house meaning you will have to just keep wandering around the house from room to room until you find one. Once you do, kill it with an attack and your ghost will trap it. Once it is trapped, it is time to go to the underground trap drop off location, located in the very bottom right corner under the house. To get there you need to go down into the sewer area and then go all the way right through the film screen in the "film" area.

When you reach the trap drop-off (looks like a giant skull with a sign of a ghost next to it), the game will automatically unload the ghost and crush it in there. You will lose your ghost trap as well when this happens so you will need to make your way back up to the roof again to get another one. Rinse and repeat 30 times and the trophy will pop after you final one.

You can see how you are progressing by going to the trophy room and going to the spot where that trophy will be (5th from right).
