This trophy is a little misleading as the one shot it is referring to is one helicopter evacuation, not rescuing them all in a single playthrough.

Special survivors are ones that appear after you collect their specific coins that are floating in the air, although they don't always appear when you collect a coin, so you'd have to find them at another coin somewhere else in the mansion. The special guests (some resemble people from horror movies) are: the old lady in a wheelchair, old crypt keeper (Phantasm), the clown (IT), scary girl (The Ring), nerd with plant (Little Shop of Horrors) & a nurse.

This trophy can be a pain, as the the special survivors don't always appear when you collect their coin, meaning you need to keep finding coins until they appear. Here is a map of their coins normal locations:


At the start of a new game, the coins will start to appear after a few minutes in, so if it's not there, then either you have that person already or you need to wait another 20-30 seconds for it to pop up. Once you find one, you will need to keep them alive until you find the other ones. Once you have all 6 at one time, run to the closest extraction point and get them on the helicopter. Once they are all on in one go, the trophy will pop.
