How to unlock the Financially Secure achievement in My Time at Sandrock - Definitive Guide
Im around lvl 15 and just got this. Pretty much cut the amount needed in half but it was totally by accident and I only realized what happened because the achievement popped. So here's how to save yourself a few thousand Gol.
Go to the Construction Junction shop which is to the right of City Hall if you're facing the entrance. It's seriously within spitting distance ,super close, and so easy to miss because it looks like a side door for City Hall.
Enter the shop and go to the back table which offers an editing "store" (there's a regular store bag to the right as soon as you walk in but you can ignore that for this. That store has marble tho so you'll go back to it eventually...).
Press X once the edit screen is loaded up (and after you go through the 3 pages or so tutorial if that pops for you). On the UI it should be listed as "change view". But I mainly found that to be the easiest way to have zero clutter and just the reticle and the stuff it can highlight.
Highlight your house and choose to resize it. Make it as small as possible and it'll actually give you the Gol it costs to make an extension of whatever size you trimmed off. So if you make it smaller by 4x1, it'll pay you the amount a 4x1 addition would cost. You can also sell a few attachments like wall lamps and a metal pipe thing as well.
Pretty sure it netted me around 5k and all this does is make the default home smaller for now which I'm cool with, cant make the sex dungeon dreampad until I unlock more stuff anyway
