How to unlock the Golden guy achievement in naild - Definitive Guide
This achievement is not really that hard. It took me about 7 hours to finish all 49 events.
There are only 3 different types of events: Race, Trick and Time Trial.
The Time Trial ones are probably the easiest and only appear in two tournaments at the very end. Until then you have played every stage many times and will have no problem at all.
The races are also very easy after you got used to the game controls and the tracks. Use boost only on the groud an not in the air. Try to get as many perfect landings as possible to gain some easy boost. The rest comes from memorizing the track and using every boost-ring/field. In later events the enemies are a little bit faster but still easy to beat. I only had to replay like 2-3 races in total at the very end.
The hardest events are trick ones, because the game mechanic is total shit. There are no real tricks like in Pure or other fun-racers. You only get points for driving through the boost-rings/fields, knocking down enemies, using wheelis and doing certain actions.
The best thing to do ist concentrating on the boostrings and checkpoints. If you use your boost a few seconds before a checkpoint without bailing you will gain the speed master most of the time. Also go for as many perfect landings as you can, which is easier said than done. even after beating the game I felt like the game decided when it worked.
A really good strategy is using wheelis at any point you can. When you reach a narrow part without any obstacles, go for a wheeli. You only have to hold it for a few moments and get 20 points each time. On most tracks you can do a fairly safty wheeli about 3-4 times each round, which nets you 60-80 points.
Also try to achieve 1st place as the score of the AI drivers will decrease until they reach the goal.
That's all I can really think of that helped me getting this achievement. As I said before, the most important part is memorizing the boost-rings and the track in general.
