Fairly easy, I got this without 'trying' 1st race.
The AI is very easy so just count the number of crashes you have naturally for the first few laps. If you still haven't got to 5 by the last lap then intetionally crash the number of times you need.
You should be far enough ahead in the first tournament race to easily absorb this and still win
