How to unlock the Fickle Fortune achievement in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT - Definitive Guide
If anyone uses a statue in your match, you should get the achievement. Playing some public matches should unlock this. If not, see below on how to find the stash and have someone in your duo or trio group unlock this.
First, you need to get into a stash. You can play a public match and wait for someone else to find a key and open the door, or you can kill a gold frog/find a key to get into the stash. One big thing to note is, there is no guarantee that there will be a statue in the stash. You will need to find one in another game if it's not there. If anyone prays at the statue in the game, you will get the achievement. I know bot matches are fun, but a few public matches should unlock this.
Instead of looking for the frog/key, know where the stashes are and see if the door is there. IF there is a door, a key and maybe a frog is close by. If you play a public match, there will be a notification on the screen that a stash has been opened and a key will appear on the map.
This site has a crude paint map. The red dots are stashes and the green areas are key/frog locations. It's best to go for the stash first to see if it's there instead of running around an area that may not have anything.

Here is video of me finding the frog and going into the stash.
Note: The video cut off me praying at the statue correctly. You do not emote. There is an prompt to get the achievement.

So you need to let someone in your party pray at the statue? Or can it be a random person outside of your party also? I am confused.

I know it works with someone in your group. I've yet to see it work with other people.

when playing in a team, you need to pray to the altar after another player (whether it’s yours or not, it doesn’t matter, it’s easier in a team). Altars are highlighted if you take additional tasks on the map (golden scrolls)
