Might be missable, I've never tried to progress without it.
You've gone through the transcriber portal, you've transcended and received the key to Baba's place and now you'll need to backtrack a tiny bit. Backtrack through the elevator and back up to the 'Hall', go left and exit to 'The Techno-Fathers' Castle' and jump over the gap to your right to finally open the sealed door. Jump back over to your left and keep heading left to the 'Banks of The Achromatopsia River'. Once there, enter the now opened door that leads to the 'Room of the Three Switches' and pick up your first memory floppy.

The process to get this starts at about 11:30 and achievements unlocks at about 20:40.
