Once you've woken up the Lighthouse keeper, he'll give you an I.D. badge that serves as proof he's just fine. Exit from the Lighthouse and head to the right and keep going until you're at the 'Tourist Information Center T.I.C.'. Head inside and speak with the distraught brother at the desk and he'll give you access to 'Access to the Grotto of the Ancient Ones'. Once inside interact with the ability statue to learn the Downstab ability!
