Sweeping over the simulation is story related so it can't be missed.
Following the guide below not only helps you collect the required Floppy Board key but also provides information for missable achievements and progress for future achievements that are missable once you've completed Floppy Island and the blue house.
After speaking with the 'Techno-Guru Compiler' but before going to Floppy Island, make sure you visit Ougai's hidden room. This achievement is missable, don't forget it!

After visiting Ougai's hidden room, teleport to Floppy island to retrieve the Floppy Board code. Use the transcriber portal again but this time use the following combination to reach Floppy Island.
Floppy Island combination:
Once you arrive, climb up and go left to the 'East Hillside' fight your way to the left until you reach the 'Old Telephone Box' and from there go to the top left 'West Hillside' until you reach the 'Cliff'. From the Cliff, climb down and go into the cave and push the button. The button will unlock 'Cavern of the Well' which is located one screen to the left of the Floppy Island starting area. Backtrack to the beginning and head into this cave and retrieve the key. Exit the cave and climb back up and go left to the 'Old Telephone Box. Now climb to the very top and input the code into the teleporter.
Technocrat Offices of the Capital combination
Once inside, you'll talk to the NPC on the far right to gain access to the balcony and retrieve the Floppy Disk. Once you've done this, head back all the way to the right to the starting area and back through the teleporter. Now speak with the Tech-Guru Compiler so that he may compile your Floppy Board.
You'll have also unlocked A Room With A View.

The opening line is that this is story related and can't be missed. But the proceeding guide would suggest that it is missable seeing as there are guided codes for secret rooms etc etc. Please clarify, thanks.
