How to unlock the 30 Wins in Ultimate Survival! achievement in NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 - Definitive Guide
With the other character I was dying sooner, it's not hard but sometimes the AI is harder somehow.
You basically want to spam the Secret Technique which is YYB. It can only be performed when your chakra is past the half way mark (small circle on the bar). Don't expect to mindlessly spam it and win every match, you still have to know the basics of the game. I'm sure this method would work with others characters as well, this is just what I did.
The moment the battle starts call upon naruto and then just start mashing X. Sometimes your condition says that you will lose health or that your chakara would decrease but with this technique you dont need chakara. Save your substitutions for special moves or when he goes into a combo rather than 1 hits. Ultimately the opponent will run out of substitutions and thats the time to hit an ultimate jutsu. If he starts to get close use sakura and call naruto everytime he is available.
In short, deidara should take out almost all enemies, i only went to the second health bar once and that was in the 29th battle. Watch out for re-animated itachi and nagato combo. I had about 60% health when i got hit by a combo ultimate jutsu and i dont know if it was a glitch, but nagatos finishing move reduced me to 10% health from 60% health. His laser canon almost killed me. Other than that, most enemies are quite easy with these combos
First off, I recommend playing Singles, as Team Battle just gets way too hectic for my liking. There are many strong characters you can choose to play as, but I suggest Danzo. The reason for this is that he is pretty much overpowered in battle, which I will explain later.
His normal ninjutsu () is long range, strong, and can be spammed quite easily against most characters (some will be a bit more tricky about it). Just keep hitting them with it and charging while they are down. This should be the majority of what you are doing during these 30 battles. If worse comes to worse and your opponent breaks out of this loop, his combos are pretty good as well. Just keep hitting them until you get an opportunity to knock them away with an explosive tag or something, and repeat the loop, etc. You can also feel free to use his Secret Technique (), as it is pretty easy to land, but it doesn't do too much damage.
Finally, if things start to take a turn for the worse and you wind up with low health, use your Awakening when given the option. Optimally, you shouldn't have to do this, but this is the overpowered part I was talking about earlier.
Danzo's Awakening power executes a close range, but widespread attack that is literally a 1-hit kill no matter what. You will win if you can land this attack. (If you miss, you won't be able to use it again, so make sure your opponent has no subs and try to work it into a combo)
BE CAREFUL though, for this to work, you need to have at least ONE SUBSTITUTION available, or it will be you who dies from the jutsu instead of your opponent. Danzo's Awakening ability will replenish one substitution though, so use them in tandem.
This trophy is for defeating 30 opponents in "Ultimate Survival", which can be found in the Free Battle mode. You'll need to survive 30 fights with one Health bar over these multiple fights. Now, you can do this with either the following Match Settings:
- Team Match: In this mode, you fight in teams.
- Single Match: In this mode, you fight one-on-one
In Ultimate Survival, you'll battle under various conditions against randomly selected opponents. There are many stipulations that are on a roulette and this will randomly choose the Battle Conditions every round. It can either help you or be against you. Your Health bar carries over every round, so you don't want to take too much damage. Luckily, there's a "Health Recovery Bonus!" after winning a fight. Depending on how long it takes to finish the fight and the Score Rank of your battle, you'll gain a certain amount of Health back in terms of percentage which is usually around about 40-70% on average.
Choose whatever fighting mode you want; if you're good with Team Matches then pick teams or if you prefer to fight one-on-one against opponents with no team support interfering in the middle of the fight, then pick Single Matches. You'll want to go into Ultimate Survival mode with your best character(s), so choose whoever you're best with. We do recommend that you pick characters that are overall good in terms of range and have powerful Ultimate Jutsu and Ninjutsu techniques. Below are some good examples:
- Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode)
- Kakashi Hatake (Double Sharingan)
- Sasuke Uchiha (Five Kage Summit)
- Kabuto Yakushi (Sage Mode)
- Minato Namikaze (Reanimation)
- Deidara ~ A spammable long range character
- The Second Mizukage ~ Another spammable long range character
These characters all have long range Ultimate Jutsu attacks and their basic Ninjutsu techniques are either close/mid/long range attacks. With these characters you can simply spam Jutsu, just recharge your Chakra whenever you're running low on Chakra. As for the long range spammable characters such as Deidara and The Second Mizukage, these characters require you to use the combo attacks instead of the standard combos. These two characters are annoying to face online as people be spamming long ranged attacks to win. They're both well known as the spammer characters in the Ultimate Ninja series, so if you wish to spam against the AI opponents you can easily win with little to no effort. Once you win your 30th fight, the trophy will unlock and you can either quit or continue fighting to see how far you can go.
Below, you'll find an entire list of all the Battle Conditions that can randomly be selected:

Main character The First Hokage (Reanimation) with Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu
2nd character Madara Uchiha (Reanimation) with Fire Style: Dragon Flame Loud Singing Jutsu
3rd chacater Mifune
Notes:
The First Hokage - is good because Shuriken Shadow Clone is hard to avoid even if enemy is behind Shuriken Shadow Clone will target him, the problem is him basic attacks are very slow is just easy to avoid
so you should use only for Shuriken Shadow Clone.
Madara Uchiha - (Reanimation) Dragon Flame Loud Singing Jutsu have very big range, ultimate jutsu too also madara basic attack have long range so is good to keep enemies on distance
Mifune - maybe him ultimate jutsu is too slow but him but "normal" jutsu is very fast is good for push or use as chakra dash and even as escape if you at trouble use Mifune as support and change to him.
Tricks:
in 11-18 rounds and in 20-28 rounds bots will use chakra dash a lot of time so you won't have time to normal defend or you will lost substitution very fast you can defend yourself only with madara ultimate jutsu it will hit enemy when he dash
if madara knock back you can use paper bomb to push away enemy and probably madara will knock back to you again enemy should lost about 40%hp with that simple trick.
REMEMBER: always leave 1 support to defend yourself do not use 2 supports immediately.
Press four times at a steady pace (until the Universal Pull animation), then tap for a quick jump. As soon as you land, start the combo over.
You can perform this combo infinitely, due to the Universal Pull rendering the enemy helpless for an interval.
Keep hitting the enemy with this combo over and over again; when the CPU uses a substitution (which they usually don't due to the game's ridiculously dumb A.I.), chakra-rush them immediately (+) and do the combo again. When only 1/4 of your chakra is left, end the combo with a Jutsu (+) after the Universal Pull animation (instead of jumping) to knock them back so you can recharge. Fireball Jutsu is the best for this.
1. Be careful not to mash too many times (that's how I was used to playing), as this will go on to finish the combo.
2. Don't press before hitting the ground, as this will cause you to do an air combo.
(not my video)
Getting 30 wins in a row will be no problem once you get the hang of it.
