How to unlock the The Power of True Awakening achievement in NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution - Definitive Guide
First and foremost this must be earned in standard combat. You can do it either during a sub-quest in the story modes or in free battle. You won't be able to Awaken in tournament mode itself, though the battles during the side missions allow you to. I earned this easily enough against the AI, though you can also plug in a second controller to do it.
From the start up, be sure to choose Awakening Type and whomever you wish to use. I used Sasuke, as I knew his Awakening would be easy to finish the foe off with. Anyway! Start the battle and begin attempting to fill your meter. Chances are, just beating the foes won't work as they'll often die before you fill the Awakening meter. This must be an attempt to make it tougher to awaken, rather than just losing health similar to the older games.
Once your blue meter below the health that isn't your chakra is full, simple hold Y like you did in the other games to Awaken. It will give you a prompt if you're able to do this once the bar fills, usually. Now, just finish whatever health you left the opponent (presumably very little) and enjoy a fairly simple achievement!
